Thank you! I watched so many videos and yours is the only one that worked on my 2021 GLC300. None of the other videos mentioned holding the home button. They all used just the back arrow and ok square.
Doesn't work for me. One click, trip menu, hold backwards and home button, then just goes to trip info after 25 seconds. 0:32 this doesn't allow my video to show you
I replaced my brakes, but the lights for the brakes hasn’t shut off. I can’t turn it off with the e-brake switch. I can drive the car though. Do you know how to remove the light?
In the video, I said to use the square button and swipe down to get to full service. Then you will press that same square button when you have full service highlighted.
@@MrJohnDoe09 Thanks for the reply, but I don't have a workshop menu/square. However, the 5 second thing combined with a couple of other videos did finally get it reset. Not sure exactly what I did...but it didn't involve standing on 1 leg with my arm over my head and a full moon ;-)
I pressed and released the square button while still holding down the back and home buttons. After the menu appeared, I released both buttons which is why the workshop menu appeared, but all you have to do is click on the square button to get to the assyst plus.
It could be in your owner's manual. If it's not, depending on your location if this brand is available, you can use this reference. Mobil 1 ESP 0W-30 and Mobil 1 ESP 5W-30 advanced full synthetic motor oils approved against Mercedes-Benz specs 229.31, 229.51 and 229.52. Mobil 1 FS 0W-40, Mobil 1 FS 5W-40 and Mobil 1 FS 5W-50 advanced full synthetic motor oils approved against Mercedes-Benz specs 229.3 and 229.5.

It is holding “back” button, the press the touch button(aka the square button)
Hold the back and home buttons simultaneously then press the square.

No it's closed. I forgot to say after opening the driver door to make sure the car is completely off, then close the door again.

You will hold down the back arrow button and the home button down and while holding them down you will press the square button in the middle.
My 2020 GLC300 controls are different. The cruise on/off is to the right of the square pad. Can't get this to work. Any suggestions?

MJD09 all that did was prompt me to reset the trip odometer.

It does and I am pressing the buttons on the left side.
Before you pressed any buttons, was the trip menu displayed on the dash?
In my model I have to buy service switch for the pad in order to reset it.
But MB didn’t sell it.Workshop get it from somewhere.
How do you go to trip there is no scroll button.
You use the square button I mentioned. It's like using a capacitive button on a phone, you can swipe left, right, up, and down with it.
