A wonderfully expansive demonstration of the possibilities of Aurora and very much appreciated. I had no idea it was so expressive and exploratory and moves far beyond reverb as we feel we might already know it! Thanks for sharing this Jeremy 😀
One particular thing I appreciate with this demo is that you allow plenty of time for the viewers to hear the sounds, as opposed to other demos where there's talking over the sounds/music at all times
Your typical all-world video! All the examples were great. My favs was the first drums, the vocal, and the cello was unreal, and stunning. Big thank you.
Whenever there is some new gear I always wait till you make a video on it to decide how I like it. Even though the Qu Bit demo was great already, yours 100% sold me on the Aurora! Cannot wait to add it to my system
Oh wow. That is some gorgeous stuff. I started eating the best strawberries I've had this year as you started playing the strawberry guitar patch, and it was almost too much. I agree, what it can do with drums is quite impressive alone. I really wanted one of those drum beats to drop in with the beautiful cello. 😁
Wandered into patchwerks the other day to be pleasantly suprised with your set. Was on a lunch break so couldnt stick around for QnA. Look forward to the next one!
You play the Cello very well but it looks really different than my Cello... Excellent sounds and Grooves you created with Aurora Module. First time I heard it I was intrigued. After listening to you play assorted types of Instruments, Drum Beats and such through the Aurora, I am sure it needs to be in my case. Groovy Grooves❗ 🎶🎛👏🏽💥🎹🥁🔥🚀✨🌖
Drums and modulating this just goes right to Aphex Twin "Come to Daddy" levels. Must get this for running BIA + SY0.5 through it. Gnarly gnarly stuff. I really want a proper Ghosts demo but right now this looks like the must have reverb.
god, this is so pretty. ... mostly what I took from this, tbh, is that I should get the listen up and listen IO to actually have outs in my modular, but other than that this is a really appealing demo of the aurora, wow.
Thank you for this - My experiments have not been so good yet, and have been squarely in the realm of things where anyone else would think it was broken (my fault, no fault of the module) - this gives me more to work with conceptually.
Me before watching video: "You shouldn't watch this. You don't have anything modular. You're saving up for the Microcosm. Don't. Just...Stop..." (watching video because I MUST watch all RMR vids) Getting to guitar pitch-shifting. "Hmmm... what can I sell to start my modular. I have a #7 hand plane that I haven't touched in a year."
Thanks for this, you did it very quickly after they shipped - mine arrives in a day or two. Very interesting, lots more stuff to explore clearly. One slightly unrelated question, what is the controller you're using with Kontakt? MPE? Poly aftertouch?
My mind went straight to my trusty old Echoboy, which of course don’t lend itself to evolution and manipulation over the course of a track like this would.
Love your demo content. I own several banging Qubit modules. But this, for a large-ish format eurorack effects module, it sorta sounds a little bit like a not terribly interesting daw plugin. Cold and super digital. What's the value added here?
@@RedMeansRecording indeed. I'm just slightly underwhelmed given the other recent innovative and musically expanding offerings from Qubit. No love lost but just wondering out loud about this modules differentiators in a crowded eurorack verb market.
Anyhow I started this thread before today's massacre and now I don't give a shit about reverbs for a while. I will, however, be listening to more of your sweet ambient jams on the other channel to find some peace.

The dnb example was ridiculous!
Right?? This thing really shines on drums
So surprised you played a guitar through it, exactly what I was looking for.
Super sold on the Aurora now.

1st module I've been genuinely excited about for a while.
it sounds SOOOOO good.

The drums through this thing was an experience! Thank you for the demo, always love 'em!

Cello was properly haunting. My Aurora arrives in a few hours and I have SWAM Cello- thanks for the idea!
Just got to your dnb portion. my ears have been blessed on this fine morning
Wow! The Qu-Bit stuff really hits and the Aurora is no exception.
Wandered into patchwerks the other day to be pleasantly suprised with your set. Was on a lunch break so couldnt stick around for QnA. Look forward to the next one!
Here is me wondering what that new qu-bit module is like. Bam! That's what it's like. Beautiful. Love the chello part.
God damn that drum & bass was slappin.
Hahaha I made a noise when the wave table exploration beat came on, fantastic. YEEUH. Aurora sounds awesome with drums, I had no idea

Mine shipped this morning! Way psyched.
Fantastic examples Jeremy! :)
The cello section reminds me of the intro to Tannhäuser / Derivè by Refused. Awesome sounding module all around and great demo as usual!
Ohhhh i was expecting this demo :D ! now, lets watch the video!
wow, some crazy sounds you're cranking out of that magic box man. please keep sharing :)

just what i was thinking. got similar results using the freeze/spectral stuff with Supercell / Clouds

Thank you, Jeremy!. wonderful demo!
Man all of that sounded great but that cello was something else, its crazy how good synths have gotten at natural sounds in the last decade or so
Really beautiful module, great video as well!
Beautiful sounds, esp the cellos.
Lovely stuff 😊 this sounds more like what I expected Clouds v2 to be than beads is
Just bought mine. Sold my Cloud Terrarium to fund it. Will be getting the Nautilus next.
I'm buying this specifically because they support polar bear conservation! Bears are my spirit animal!
I had the versio effects planned in my rack, i love the flexibility of changing firmware whenever. But damn this sounds amazing! Decisions, decisions
Same here, but I’m still getting most of them. Aurora just slowed the process down.
That cello is something else.
Pre-order justified!
I can't wait to send the Bitbox through the Aurora
I think you have a few of the QuBit modules in your setup? I'd be curious to know, 'if' you could only keep one, which one would it be and why?
Surface
Ooo, lawd, the range on this thing. The glitchy bits of the thing just makes my teeth buzz... but, you know, in a good way. ^^;;;
Wow! Sounds awesome! You’re a wizzard!
Please make more dnb in that style I need that in my life thank you
Thank you for this - My experiments have not been so good yet, and have been squarely in the realm of things where anyone else would think it was broken (my fault, no fault of the module) - this gives me more to work with conceptually.
It can sound broken really easily.
Interesting, some settings remind me of GRM Tools. And maybe some of Fennesz classic albums like Endless Summer.
Great Demo. Subbed!! Love to know what Cello VST you are using. It sounds great.
Kontakt Stradivari cello
Looking forward to you getting your hands on a Nautilus! Demos on the website sound great. I feel like that module would suit your style!
Me too!
It seems like an envelope follower based on the input audio would be a good modulation source for time. Thoughts?
I'll have to try it. Interesting idea.

I need to think about whether this or Desmodus fits in my setup more readily. Lovely video!
I love them both. I think desmodus is more versatile.

NI 49 s controller
Aurora sounds simply gorgeous! Btw, whats the Kontakt cello library?
Stradivari cello
@@RedMeansRecording Thank you! Sounds really good!
We should call this the Christopher Nolan patch. Fuego 🔥❤️🔥
Youre so good at this , Jeremy 😉 Wonder how it sounds with "Rings" in the end of chain
When a single module makes you question your decision to stay away from Eurorack forever. Damn you Aurora!
Nice vibes. Nice "noodling" haha. I guess one just picks an instrument / gear and learns it.
4:27 i waited for a nice liquid dnb beat to come in 😀
My mind went straight to my trusty old Echoboy, which of course don’t lend itself to evolution and manipulation over the course of a track like this would.
The Cello reminded me of Firefly.
i need some of these diff color 1/4" cables, Patchworks?
Amazon. Gls audio.
hi!where is the dnb sound from?😮
so what ur telling me is, i should keep giving qubit my money
