Some tips for mangos: Generally believed to create "heat" in the body leading to stomach pains and heat boils if consumed heavily. So some practices to mitigate these : 1. Soak mangoes in cold water say for 30 minutes before eating. 2. Have a glass of milk after taking mangoes. 3. Mangoes are eaten with and without skin. Sensitive stomach, dont eat skin. Else go ahead.
I was about to say the same. Too many mangoes always give me mouth ulcers. Given that i am histamine intolerant and cant consume foods like milk or lemon to cool myself down. I dont mind eating skin. But avoid now due to chemicals.
I'd suggest you to try Dussheri mangoes which are typical of Uttar Pradesh and mostly come in the month of June. Their green exterior and orange pulp is pure heaven.

Ben, after watching all the miseries happening around all day long, this video cheered me up. God bless you man. Stay safe, stay healthy, enjoy your mangoes. 🥭
That moment when you ate the mango in the 'Indian Way', it reminded me of the time I spent in my village. There sometimes you find these small mangoes which are very juicy. In our language, we call them 'Bitki' and what you do is basically bite the skin of the mango at the bottom and suck the juice off it. You aren't supposed to eat them, I suppose probably because the flesh is too fiber-y to eat, but it is juicier than any juice you will find in a bottle...
You should try the Banganpalli, Badami. The 1st one is kinda big and usually sweet. The second one is a slightly more expensive one with a medium size and is supposed to be a sweet variety. Also when choosing mangoes make sure they are not overly yellow on the outside. Those types are usually artificially ripened.
One old sayings is that you eat jackfruit before lunch & after or with lunch (with curds bath) Mango. Some say it is heat to body using exess quantatiy in one take. Some time create problems of loose Motions.

The one mango u asked sweet is Alphonso, The most prominent ones are Banisha/Banginapalli (more juicy), Malgova (big seed inside more fiber), Himampasand (mix of banisha and malgova), Neelam/Alphonso (more sweet), Badami (medium sweet but nutty flavour), Ratnagiri/Keari (green and red in colour short in size medium sweet). Mallika (looks like banisha long mango but not as juicy as banisha/banginapalli). Mango has good amount of fiber , so don't eat more than 10 unless u r constipated. Sugar from fruit is fructose not as bad a sucrose which comes from sugar.
Sucrose is a compound sugar, containing Glucose and Fructose! So, there is NOT a lot of difference. Eating fruit is good because you get a lot of fiber along with other nutrients.
