This is the beauty of India, north Indian food snacks available in Chennai and we North Indians love most of the south Indian delicacies like idli, dosa, uthapa. etc.
I have seen some vloggers visiting Chennai and roaming. They either go to some very famous spots or get pretty local. Your choice of selection, be it restaurants, foods or the places are pretty standard and well known to the larger middle class community of people. Brave that you managed the sapping heat.
Keep doing this kind of foodie vlog Ben. Why? Because people like me who were in India 🇮🇳 and fell in love 🥰😍 with her and her people wanna go back but can't for now so we live vicariously through you.
Wow nice selections of places to go to in chennai. Being a chennaite I have seen foreign TH-camrs usually visiting unhygienic places without proper research. All the places listed are popular and hygienic, regularly visited by locals.
Got the murukku sandwich right but atho and set dosa, vadacurry are like the most endemic street food of chennai. Try some indoburmese dishes while you're at chennai
Loved this vlog because of the EPIC food and going on the street a lot so people like me who have been to India 🇮🇳 and love 💖🥰 her cam be made happy through you till we go back again.

Dear Mr jenk, you are enjoying indian dishes with full content. Go on one by one and you can't finish indian dishes in one life . Even as indians, sometimes we come to know about different indian dishes through the vlogers like you lovely visitors ..... all the best wishes 👍
Raj Kachori is not a dessert. It is a North Indian snack - a chaat. :-) Murukku sandwich!!! Interesting. Have never eaten it that way before. Must try it out next.
@@shottyaiyer Idli and dosas aren't snacks are they. We get every Indian snack in Chennai. But cannot find any Tamil snacks in North India. Why is that?

Hi Ben: Nice video of Chennai street food. Really enjoyed your walk through my city of birth. By the way, that plantain thingy is called "bajji" not "bhaji" which means vegetables in Hindi.
Nope. Not only in India they put beans in the desert. It’s a lot more common in China. Shakes and ice cream with beans (taro or mung) they make even in the US.
Uttapam I like. Murukku you were eating is a different kind than the one you pointed in the picture, you can bring some home, they stay fresh for several days. Very busy streets, lots happening.
There are more places to visit in south part of Tamilnadu, cities like Madurai, Coimbatore and place like Kanyakumari, chidambaram and hill stations Valparai, Ooty, Kodaikanal...
Hey welcome to Chennai, glad to know that you visited links traders. Next time for chai you can try "chai kings", they have different varieties of chai. I am sure you will like it. 🙏
By the way the woman with a bracelet in hand is Kannagi.. she burnt the city of madurai when the king mistakenly kills her husband as being a thief. Do check out that story.
Interesting food items, although I don't think I would live to see the next morning after eating all that street food haha. I am older, so don't have a strong stomach anymore. I noticed in India there's a lot of uncomfortable staring from people, if you are an American, as I had experienced when I visited. You're really brave to be walking around and talking into a camera.
Yes, it is just like how we are curious about watching a reaction video, but they just want to watch it live, that's all. It's all only in a positive way!
I'm happy to see foreigners exploring my city, nice video bro. But Street food in sowcarpet are not Chennai's authentic street food, they are North Indian Street foods. You can find Chennai street food in mannady, Georgetown
Hey Bejamin you can try one thing. You can record everything in the video but while editing use your mic 🎙️ and then record the audio .. this way I'll be easy for you. And more importantly you won't stress about these noises in your videos. Even I hate these street hawkers.. we can't do anything about it but we can try different methods.. this just came randomly to my mind.
