The editing in this episode was next level 🔥🔥🔥 it sure made me miss Sarasota a bit. Happy to hear you left Yoder's with a pie...they are pricey, but worth it!
Awesome video!! I never knew you could kayak in Sarasota!! Also, thanks for the museum details and sharing the restaurants you tried!!! Looking forward to more of your videos!!!
lol yeah this movie gave me nightmares. That scene in particular, Gmork the giant wolf thing, and the evil sorceress' beetle warriors or w/e they were (they may have been more in Part II)
yo, just found your channel. You should've got million views. Your edit is on point (music, jump cut, text animation), your speech is good, and the video contains good info, too. Your history presentation is good also.
Thanks yall! Will be interesting to see how it goes without animals or circus performers, but I've read that the circuses in Germany and other parts of the world have been very successful with that method. I kind of miss the glow-in-the-dark wands and circus popcorn
I mean it's Florida. I have yet to find a spot in the state that isn't very, very hot. Also, you don't have to go very far to see more than just "bars and restaurants" in fact in this video we show more than just bars and restaurants... But yes, it is crowded. Thank you for your comments!
Yall make me want to move out there to Florida. Florida has a lot of great this to offer. I live in Northern Virginia right now, but I'm going to move to Florida in a couple of years.
Don't move here....lol....everything looks great on videos and photos...it's very flat like flat for hundreds and hundreds of miles....seriously...and for 7 months it's way way too hot...
How deep was the water when you kayaked? I have two younger kids and a wife that doesn't swim the best. Would it be ok for them you think or should we avoid?
Most of it was shallow enough to stand! The rental company provides life jackets as well. If you stay in the mangroves area and don’t venture out to the bay, we think you’d be fine
They give you a life vest. You don't have to wear them, but if swimming is a concert, then you can put one on. They do a tour, too. That would probably be your best bet. That way if something went wrong, there would be somewhere there to help
Did you feel safe as a poc? I'd love to go but always get scared of being in racist areas after a bad experience during one of my travels. Thanks in advance!
Always happy to answer these types of questions!! Certain areas yes. Sarasota I felt fine. St Pete and Tampa I felt very safe. Around the gulf in Florida and somewhat by the keys is where things start to make me a bit nervous. If we happen to go to a place where I'm even slightly unnerved then it's only in the most populated areas and during the day and I make sure we're not followed to our accommodation, but again I didn't feel that here in Sarasota personally
nope. not at all. some manatees and dolphins can be spotted out by the bay, but the Kayak rental service said there weren't any gators since they opened up shop there at least
It's mostly bars and Restaurants....lol...most people who live here never go outside...matter of fact a lot of people just stay in bed because it's way too hot and way too crowded...crowded like living in an Airport on Thanksgiving...lol...also most people are retired and bored and broke...lol...also..everything even the beaches are man made...Florida is flat sand...at sealevel...so we have to make everything...
If you don’t like heat. Everything and every experience is an absolute sweat shop event. Going outside 8 months of the year is extremely uncomfortable. Seems like pr. To Me.
What are some of your favorite spots in Sarasota? Also, Mangrove tunnel...manmade or naturally occurring?
El charro in Arcadia. Del Carmen in Dade City. Anything in Immokalee. 🌮
All noted. Thanks for the recs!

Thank you 🙌 Yeah, Yoder's = expensive but worth it lol
@@TheDetourDuo totally!
I'm adding to my list; for June 2023. Many thanks for this!!
Hope you enjoy it!
You two should have at least a million subscribers. 🎉
We’re workin on it!! Thanks for the love
Another quality travel video! Hope that you do one on Tahiti & it’s islands!
Thank you. I hope so too! Might be down the round, but definitely giving me ideas!
Cool, I've never heard the Amish food drop b4, thanks! Good grub tip
You bet!
Awesome video!! I never knew you could kayak in Sarasota!! Also, thanks for the museum details and sharing the restaurants you tried!!! Looking forward to more of your videos!!!
Glad you enjoyed! Thank you for watching. You should definitely give kayaking a try in sarasota.
So full disclosure the Artex never ending story part crushed me man that part of the movie hurt me as a kid and got me choked up now for a min lol
lol yeah this movie gave me nightmares. That scene in particular, Gmork the giant wolf thing, and the evil sorceress' beetle warriors or w/e they were (they may have been more in Part II)
You’re a excellent videographer and you guys pair well

You guys do great videos, you get my subscription. Keep it up.
Awesome, thank you! We're trying our best!
Thanks Great content as always. Hoping to visit this Fall. Presently recuperating from fractured wrist. Anyhow enjoy your summer 😅😊.
ouch! hope you feel better. Summer has been a bit stressful for us. We have a lot going on and not enough time to put out new content because of it.

This is some praise! Thank you for this comment. Sometimes you wonder if the effort goes unnoticed when the views don't roll in
Love watching yall! Pretty cool to see the Ringlingbros comeback too.. We took our kids to see them in Chicago before they stopped. Keep killin it!!

Thinking on moving to Sarasota or Fort Mayers... dont know what to do lol thanks for sharing !
Good luck!! We don't know much about Fort Myers, but Sarasota is a nice. The area can get really congested though
Very very very hot and crowded...just bars and Restaurants...

Sarasota is better than Fort Myers. More to do and closer to the Tampa area.
Great video. I love the style of your production. Do you do your own editing?
Thank you
Thank you! Yes, we do our own filming and editing
Great eye for video! Tasteful editing. What drone model are you using?
Thank you, that means a lot! Currently, I'm using the DJI Mavic 3

Is kayaking dangerous if I cant swim. I don't have a lot of strength

@@bsalmar14 likewise to you too!
I prefer Hallandale beach Florida more beautiful city with more to do good restaurants and clubs and growing businesses.
Cool, have fun!
The mangrove tunnels are manmade, cut to control mosquitos by flushing out the mangroves with tidal actions..
Thanks for sharing your knowledge. It's an interesting thing to learn about.
I WENT TO LOS CHULLOTOS BEST TACOS IVE EVER HAD
It's up there for us!
Bars and restaurants
True
Are there alligators in that kayaking river??
nope. not at all. some manatees and dolphins can be spotted out by the bay, but the Kayak rental service said there weren't any gators since they opened up shop there at least
I’ve been told man made, so the lagoon in the center would flush with the tide and not grow mosquitos.
ah, that would make a lot of sense. Thank you!
I know for sure that the tunnels up at Weedon Island in St. Pete are mosquito ditches. Was apparently a common practice back in the day.
@@zanek9285 I just went into a deep dive on mosquito ditching. It's kind of fascinating to learn about the practice
If you want a real deep dive look up the cross Florida barge canal. It’s one of the larger failed infrastructure projects in US history.

well thanks for your opinion
