My favorite city! My wife was born and raised here. Her family goes back generations in St Augustine. We've lived and traveled the world; but, St Augustine We love most.
Oh my goodness! What a GREAT video! (Naturally!). St. Augustine looks absolutely beautiful, and I think I just may have drive Lucy down there for a visit. It’s funny that we’ve been all over Europe, the Mediterranean, some of Scandinavia, yet we haven’t visited Florida….and my cousin lives there. This fabulously visual and informative video and narrative is just what I needed to get us going. Such history, mixed in with modern. Oh, and Anastasia State Park looks like my kind of campground. Love it. Thanks again so much for showing me (all of us) your travels in such a fun, beautiful and very informative way…No one does it like the Newstates! Love Ya, Virginia❤️
Hi Virginia! Omg yes... you'll have to plan a trip down. So much to see & do here in FL and hopefully we've given you many ideas :) You'll have to let us know when you make it down here. Hope you have a fabulous week! ♥ Katelyn
@@NewstateNomads we most certainly will let you know when! I can’t think of a better thing than to finally meet you two and maybe have a glass of wine (with dinner!) with you guys. Would be so much fun!
What a fantastic tour of a city that has had my heart for many years. We left right after you arrived which is a shame because wow how did we miss the Forgotten Tonic! We had a different tour of Flagler College from the student side as my daughter applied there.
thank you for this video, we are planning on going to Florida for the first time, and we are choosing St. Augustine as it looks full of history and beauty, i can't wait!
We took our dog to Crystal grotto caverns in a backpack 😂. She stayed in it and did great. Good luck St Augustine is a really cool city, love the fort and the old town area. France with a white arm band 😂 Who would ever dream of mowing that down. It’s a beautiful building 😮 No Fountain of Youth?? That’s a cool tour. I drank from the fountain, now I will live forever 😂
Haha sadly, we had to return the backpack. She was just not having it 😂 Right?! Can't believe they were going to tear that beautiful building down... so glad it was saved. We definitely need to go back to drink from the fountain.... can't let you have all the fun for eternity! 😉😂
😂Haha I bet! That is funny. I guess that's what happens when they turn such a beautiful, historic building into a college campus. But like I said in the episode, such a pretty place to go to school! 😍
It all looks amazing! The “Bourbon Baron” was fabulous - he nailed it on being stewards & visiting, eating & drinking local. I’d go back to college if I could go to that college!
Saint Augustine is so beautiful. I love this area!! The fort, which I think is fascinating. The beach, and the food looks really good. Also puppy friendly trails.Love this video.Thank you for this.🙂❤️🇨🇦
👍Great video, thanks for sharing. I lived in South Florida, but never visited St. Augustine, but I hope to visit all the places mentioned in your video. I can't imagine anyone agreeing to demolish the building now, Flagler College, it is gorgeous! 💜☮
Who Dey🐅 Another enjoyable video. Loved Anastasia State Park, Castillo de San Marcos, & Flagler College. The distillery tour is nice. Next time you’re in KY, check out Wild Turkey Distillery near Lawrenceburg just off the BG Parkway.
Thanks so much, Karla! While we didn't get to go up to the top of the lighthouse during this trip, we have in the past and it was so fun. The views up there are amazing. Such a cool town!
You guys would really appreciate Fort Clinch on Amelia Island north of Jacksonville. Very beautiful area. We stayed at Talbot Island State Park. Thanks for posting and happy travels.
We were just there (briefly) while filming a commercial for Winnebago and we said we need to go back when we have more time to explore! Thanks so much for watching :)
Another great video. Boy did I miss a lot although I was under a time crunch. As a former golfer, now I just lose balls in the woods, I went to the golf hall of fame which is now closed. Can't wait for the next video on the sink hole. I was there during covid and the factory was closed.
There's definitely a ton to see & do! We only had two days but could have easily spent longer. The next episode will be a fun one! It's amazing how they were able to restore the museum after the sink hole. Stay tuned... :)
Well one is her leash, one is her regular collar and one is her training collar 😉 so technically only 2. Scout was a street dog in Mexico and was also a flight risk, after her training 3 years ago, she stays with us and is fully off leash trained with the help of that collar. So while it may look silly to some, she is a happier and safer pup because of it! ❤️🐾 Thanks for watching!

My husband and I did our honeymoon in st augustine and it was amazing! We had so much fun!
We love your videos! Anytime we arrive at a new location, your video on that area (or Park) is the First One we watch! Thanks again!!!!
Thank God that historic beauty was NOT bulldozed!!! 😱
Makes me wonder how many other historic places were leveled….
Cool vid I live 20 miles away from St George St

I graduated from Flagler College in 2000...and it's always so weird to see people touring our dining hall and dorm rooms. LOL

He was the best! I kept saying to Howard while I was editing that he had the best sound bites! And agreed... such a beautiful campus. 😍
Thanks for sharing your stay. Loved St Augustine with our kids. You just reminded me why we need to get back now that we are "empty nesters".

What a great episode! Can't wait to visit there one day. Don't know about the $100,000 stay though....
😂right? Quite a hefty price tag. Thanks so much! It such a beautiful and fun place to film!
Great video! We loved Flagler College also. So incredible. The fort is amazing. The lighthouse is beautiful.

Will do.
Great video. Sorry I've never seen St Augustine..
One of my favorite cities to visit. I started a nautical antique collection from items bought here.
"how many collars do you want the dog to have?"
"yes"

I've had that vodka, it's good!
