Sometimes a team just needs a great fit, and you build from there. Don't wanna imply Jags' talent level is there, because it absolutely isn't, but Alex Smith, Carson Palmer, and Russell Wilson are great fits for their offensive schemes and they manage games the way the coaches see fit. That's a large part of success for those teams.

I don't really know how he'll do. I think he'd be fine with the Texans because of Bill O'Brien. O'Brien turned someone like Matt McGloin into a pretty good, slightly over par QB at Penn State. I think we can Bortles is better than McGloin. And their stats in their final years are pretty similar. If the Texans draft him, I think Bortles could be a quality quarterback and a very good backup.
