Montravia and Antonio met at an auto supply store in 2010. She was leaving the store when she saw him and said under her breathe, “Dang he looks good with his sexy chocolate self!” Apparently, Anntonio heard her and came over to talk to her. They were both freshly separated from their spouses and still hurting, so they could relate and console each other. Anntonnio has since divorced but Montravia is still married which is an issue. Montravia says Anntonio has trust issues due to his previous relationships

There's lots of men that are depressed and mental health issues but are afraid to tell someone because of being labeled as weak or not tough enough. Especially in the black community. Women have all the resources for themselves in dealing mental health and abuse. NOT MEN

I had that kind of husband for 25 years. Every time I had a girls night once in the blue moon and he asked me the time I will be back, I used to answer « How should I know, I’m not gone yet!» At the end, I couldn’t take no more his clingyness, jealousy and ‘perfect’ picture of himself. I left. Today we still are in contact and surprisingly we became good friends. But sometimes I can see why I did the right thing by leaving him.
