    I have one myself, used it for logs size 5-30 cm. For logs below 20cm, it does an excellent job! Over 20cm hardwood - it handles it well, but takes more time and battery. Overall, for my use - Im very very happy with this saw. Got a 5 Ah battery + 4 Ah HP. It lats long enough to get the right amount of logs cut. When both batteries discharge, I charge then - meanwhile Im splitting the woods. Do not compare it to a ordinary chain saw, its not that powerful. But its very practical, and does the job just good enough. I live in a big friendly neighbourhood, Its a big advantage that this electrical saw is much more quite than a traditional chain saw. Its a also light and easy to handle.
    If your going to the woods to cut a lot of logs, I would recommend sticking to max 30cm deep logs and at least 3 good batteries, 4 og 5 Ah.

      How do you think? Would it be better to have two 4-5Ah batteries or one 9Ah to use with this saw?

    • @rustamarzumov2304
      @rustamarzumov2304 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Walt_Kowalsky good question.. 9VA will defenitly make the saw heavier. Take that in consideration. I imagine the 4VA and 5VA deliver very little juice in its last 10-15% charge before they die. I would think that the 9VA delivers more power for a longer time than 4+5. But to he honest i like to have the option to charge one of the batteriets, while I use the second one. And also regarding the weight, i have a lot of Ryobi tools that can handle 4VA and 5VA comfortably, where the 9VA would be too heavy to work with for a longer time. I would choose 5VA + 5VA.

    Haha....Love those steel toe safety Crocs, I have a couple pairs myself. For the folks who might be wondering (myself included) you should have kept going until you wore out that battery. I would like to know if you can actually get 30 cuts out of it. Thanks for the unboxing demo, I like seeing what all comes with it. Also, is that going to be a proprietary replacement bar or will that adjusting ring (seen at :52 ) fit on a universal bar? Thanks.

      I upped my game and got a 14" replacement bar and chain from Oregon, I saw a upgrade video about it. 4ah batteries last a long time.

    Two questions:
    Is that small amount of lubricant enough? It didn’t even show up in the little window down there. I added some more.
    If I push to hard, the machine stops and won‘t start going for at least 2-3 minutes after that. Is that a safety feature for overheating or is my product faulty?

    • @andyb4071
      @andyb4071 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      He used a 1 gallon mixer of 2 stroke oil rather than bar and chain oil... so its doubtful he knows what he's doing. And yes, the machine cutting off is an overheating protection. Make sure your chain is nice and sharp and that shouldn't happen terribly often

    Perfect! I got a lot of 18v one kit tools already and I carry some of them camping and off-roading. I was hoping to add this to my gear just to cut the odd trail obstruction. I didn’t want to add a big gas saw, this is all I need. Thanks.

      Yeah that's a great idea. I wouldn't want to take it out logging, but I'm thinking of keeping this in the trunk of my car in case of trees across the road after wind storms. Plus, it's just cool!
