The batteries have a thermal cut out to stop them overheating

I think the saw stops because the battery is overheating. These batteries have "intelligent" circuits to prevent overheating to prevent damage to the battery. Removing and reinserting the battery is letting it cool down a little.
If it stops, just swap your batteries to let the one in use cool down.

Takk for kommentaren! Hehe, vi har også havnet langt inni Ryobi ekosystemet - veldig greit å kunne bruke samme batteriene til alt! :D

Have just got this model unfortunatly have not figured out how to install the chain due to terrible set of instructions. Tooth diagram on the bar does not correspond with the teeth on the chain and installing it is guess work as to the teeth facing the right direction.

What kind of battery you use? 5.0 or 4.0? Because i am thinking to buy this chainsaw and i have 4 batteries 4.0ah so im wondering is it powerful enough 😊

We are using two old 5 Ah batteries, so you should be good with four 4 Ah batteries :) 4 Ah may last a bit shorter, but with as many as four you can rotate them all between charging and using :)

Which battery size are you using ?

We have 2x 5 Ah batteries, which are 5 years old so the capasity are probably a bit lower now.
