Manipur continues to suffer from inundation due to floods

Manipur continues to suffer from flash floods caused by the landfall of Cyclone Remal. Approximately 200,000 people have been affected across 348 villages and urban areas in eight districts of Manipur, where flash floods continue to disrupt normal life. Although water levels have slightly receded in the Imphal and Nambul regions, many areas still face a critical situation. Rescue and relief operations are underway in the state.
