Okay, so my idea for this was that I wanted it to build up like how it does in-game. Starts with the first lyrics before going instrumental, and then later building up as each of the phases shift, and then I decided to have the ending part loop a few times for a complete package. Is was a fun idea in my head, but oh, my, PORK! This was a PAIN. There was a point I realized I screwed up one of the very beginning parts and instead of restarting to ensure optimum sound I decided to try and mess around with it, and things might have gotten a little out of wack, but it sounded fine enough?
(This part was written after the below) And then, and then! I decided it didn't sound good enough! Whenever it looped back to "Fly, broken wings" it was cut at juuuuust the right way to sound like "(f)ly, broken wings" and you could still hear the F, but just not enough that it really bothered me and I just started alllll over again to make this version.
Oh dear I hope this turned out good, it was such a pain to set up. I just felt like putting in the extra mile, and I hope it pays off.
I also decided to make the "that's all" only play at the very end of the song, because it felt a bit...odd to hear it multiple times. I don't...know why I decided to do this since the normal extension of the vocal version won't have this, it just felt like something to do.
Honestly, there's just so many variations of this loop I'm finding myself liking. Weirdly enough I really like the loop at 4:30, but I also think just a look of the first vocal part would also sound decent.
...At least, I thought I was replicating how it sounded like in-game. Huh...I was watching a video, and I notice it goes back to instrumental after a verse is sung. I remember the vocals playing a whole lot more once you got to when the second part plays. I guess I'll just keep this the way it is? Don't see much reason to change it because I like the way this sounds. I've been listening to it for a long, long time.

mhm! i just read the description and you're right, the first verse plays twice instead of the once here before going to instrumental, and the subsequent ones all also play a couple of times before also going to instrumental
i wonder if you'd be interested in making a version that closely follows the in game version too? to have both

I m loving it tbh, original fly my wings gets too repetetive as loop in my opinion, and doesn t represent the feels of the fight the way buildup does. Also, yes, it feels weird if "that s all" isn t the end of the song xd
