This is absolutely brilliant! You break the steps down so very well and make the ideas behind them so clear . . . This is the hallmark of a gifted teacher. TYFS

This is fabulous Just watching someone dance does not help the untrained like me, but with step by step I am getting it Even a beginner at 68 can learn something new Thank you so very much!

Quite honestly this is the best instruction for the swivel I've ever seen! Thank you for breaking it down so beautifully and carefully!

Thank you for going so slowly and step by step. This is the only video I've found that was easy to follow. The others go to quick and make me feel discouraged but I am encouraged after doing your video.

Thank you, thank you so much for this wonderful video! You are such a great teacher and after watching numerous videos I finally found someone who breaks each step down, slowly enough, for me. I truly can't tell you how much I appreciate this! 🤗

Wow thank you so much for this. I was watching so many videos and each time the instructors mixed the twist with the steps I completely lost it. You are so clear and take it slowly for absolute beginners like me. I thought i was a lost case but you gave me hope i can do this! I´ll try the 30 minute practice next. Thank you so much

Why every video I see women doing this dance (I'm not talking about this particular one, because she's teaching)? That seems odd to me, because one of the steps (4:49) is pretty much the mashed potatoes, which James Brown and Michael Jackson used to execute. Just wondering...

    • @fitfundanceusa

Perhaps they were inspired by the Charleston dance 😉

People sometimes borrow steps from.other or older dances, likev1950s Suzy Q (1 version)
seems to come from 1 or more Renissance, 1500s N of Italy.
The huge no of arm turns and arm. positions come from 16? 17? 00s
German, Austrian Swiss fol.k dances , borrowed by French monarchy in 1770s+ minuet.
then spread over W, NE Europe,
      N &,S. America. etc. --much
      travel!!
