Womens football used to be a joy to watch, not now, they're worse than the men, rolling around in exaggerated agony, sneaky elbowing , hair pulling and sly fouling.
Use to be a more innocent time. I like women’s soccer over men’s because it was cleaner and had thus less interruptions. But the trend towards violence and deceiit is inevitable.
What a player Paul Sturrock ( Luggy ) was and a credit to Dundee utd i remember 1st seeing him play when I was 9 along with my dad travelling from luton just to see him play and remember seeing him play in many a game after that. From league games Scottish FA Cup games and the final against Gothenburg . A true utd legend of Tannadice . 🧡🖤🤍

to be honest, this is NOTHING compared to what happened years ago at some U.S. high school. Forgot her name and school but many football fans will know. There was a particular girl who would yank EVERY girl's hair (especially with those who had ponytails). She was notorious for this stunt, probably received more red & yellow cards than anyone in the pro league worldwide. I think eventually the school and high school league banned her from ever playing again.
Main observations; players are just as bad as the men at cheating but refs seem to be more in control. Far less arguing and accept punishment. At least in this set of clips. I'm a rugby ref and would not tolerate being crowded or being spoken to out of turn and players are taught this from the moment they pick up a rugby ball to not mess with the ref. It's one of the reasons I can't stand football these days.
Ill never understand the whole GK leaves the ball on the ground, waits till after the opposition player has comitted to pick it up, opposition player gets carded..... pick it up or play it, if the balls on the ground when the tackle has been comitted to the GK is at fault for not playing the game, you cannot expect a player to magically uncommit from what in open play is a perfectly fine tackle because the GK has suddenly after 10-20 seconds decided to finally play or pick the ball.
