Was it just me, or was anyone else expecting her to say that her dog can also do dressage. I bet that the girl is a equestrian, how many other equestrians have trained their dogs to jump? I know I definitely have.

Any tips? My dog jumps 4 foot... But seems to like to go under the jump more than over and he doesn't really have enough room either...😑 when I set the jump up in the backyard its to big so he just goes around the jump
I'm just starting my dog into jumping. He's pretty lazy so if you want them to actually jump it you can use string etc to block off the corners so that don't go around. You can also build your jump like a horse jump. having more than one pole making sure that don't go under. They are just things I do

I have a springer spaniel and he probably could jump that but he just runs under it or runs around it. He will find any little crack to go through because he is only small. Louie is amazing. Well done on training him so well you must be a great dog owner

greywolf _92 This is horrible for your dogs joints dog are not horses and don't have the same bones density needed to not seriously hurt themselves over jumps! I have been doing agility for a long time I have seen a ton of dogs that there owners made them do this and the ended up needing wheelchairs because she tore there ACLs and high liniments! The please stop dogs aren't horses and this is horrible for them you only jump your dog and inch or two inches higher then there withers! Everyone stop this is horrible for your canines!

Lol, this is exactly what I do to my dog! I have an oversized German Shepherd, he can jump really high, he just doesn't want to . He isn't very obedient, he won't even sit for me, and he's smart, he knows it won't hurt him to go under the jump:)
