This is our van that Stuart and his team converted. To say we are pleased is a complete understatement. As you'll see, they did a fantastic job and we love the finished article. Our kids love sleeping in their den underneath and we cant wait to explore and enjoy the van more this year. We couldnt reccomend these guys enough if you are looking for a conversion. Thanks again! The Rowland Family!
Another first class build by the Vanology crew and a good one for Shane's first: first word of the customer when he opened the sliding door: 'Wow'..says it all really..he also said what I've always said which is the attention to detail which you have in buckets.. Compared to some of the other recent ones, a fairly simple conversion, however simple done well is the way to go for me.. Hope that nagging water inlet by the sliding door gets sorted...sure it will.. See you on the next one..👍🤠
Excellent work , love it learning a lot . I used aluminium corner with a recess for led strip which came with the corner from clear cut conversions in Barnstable. The led strips were taking over 2amp at 12volt so I bought a few inline dimmers, which reduced the current to well under an amp and took the edge off the brightness 🔆 I.E less disco more camper van 🤣 thank you both well done and good luck from the Bont 👍👍👍🏴🇬🇧🇨🇦🦢
Thank you, I do like the recessed ones and we are just about to try building our wall cabinets with the Ali trim and if all goes well I’ll upgrade to these in the future 👊🏻🚐
It’s good to know it prevents it but would love to know why the seal isn’t working, we even checked for damage in the header area but can’t see anything
Fab job Stu and the team. Just a small thing if you put round head screws on your cheeky plaque rather than countersunk it would look perfect. Still a fab job. But you are after feedback.
Great, simple build with maximum attention to detail! We have the Vauxhall Movano 2019 plate and have the same issue on sliding door :( The door has a main seal like other doors but the sliding door also has a P seal that runs along the top of the door. So far have tried adjusting the door to bring closer to van but still leaking in top corners in heavy rain. Sorry I cant help with this but seems to be a common issue on these vans sadly.
I notice you haven't used the 'standard' Skorva mounting bracket on the fixed bed - I'm looking to do something similar to avoid the Skorva beam sitting too low. What are those 90deg brackets you have used please?
Hi mate we use heavy duty angle brackets from Screwfix, we do have trim the one side down slightly so they fit nicely inside of the skorva. I find the original brackets both bring it too low but they also rattle as they are not fixed 👍🏻🚐
Van looks brilliant, I'm doing something similar with my old work van. I have the same back seats for my van and I want to make the false floor like you did but if the seats rails are fitted directly to the van floor won't the seats seem very low to that raised floor ? Or did you make a riser to bring up the height of the seats that the rails can attach to ?
Thanks guys 👍🏻🚐 we will have more videos for our main channel, we decided not to put videos out for the sake of it so when we travel they will be back 👊🏻🚐
Like many others have, i have fitted a drip strip above the door. I used a B and Q 9mm plastic tile end trim quadrant trimmed down on the flat edge and sikaflexed up. That stops a lot of rain getting to the seal. But i also wonder if the seals are genuine oem as i looked at some cheaper after market ones for my van and they werent quite the same as the original ones
Hey Stu! Great build, I have the same van which im currently building out, however, I have never found any swivel plate for the doubleseat and was about to try to get a single seat, but here in sweden the regulations are very strict which means my car probably won't go through the inspection if I change for a single seat... Do you have a link for the swivel plate for the double seat? Much appreciated! Keep up the good work, love the channel!
I ❤ watching this channel.. I didn't realise you could run the DC - DC charger live feed cable that long from front of the van to where you have it located at the back., I'd love to know how you've achieved that. Great job folks, the builds are getting better & better.. 😎
Thanks mate, any of the cables can be run the full length of the van but you have to take voltage drop into consideration based on the length and adjust the cable size to suit 👊🏻🚐
@@VanologyConversions 😊 this is Brilliant Stu, you've given me some great ideas to adapt to my own Citroen Relay build. I just about to rip the bulkhead out to start this actual wiring process, I know you are a busy bee.. But did you run the cables inside the van or run those outside underneath?
Fiamma sell an above sliding door water divererter strip, used a lot to stop the rain running down when you open the slider. May be worth a try. I had one on my Ducato self build. Some have used some tile corner trim stuck on to divert the water too. 👍🏼🏴
i had exactly the same problem with the leaky door on my citreon Relay. adjusted the door put new seal on etc. still leaked rang Citreon they said it was probably a bow in the door which is nonsense it’s a design fault they don’t want to admit that . 😮
great job again only thing i would change is the counter top with the sink in would round all the corners off with it being a tight space i can see people getting some nice bruises did you say he had kids if they are little the counter top is at eye level ouch
Congrats on NOT covering up the over-cab shelf with a stoopid tiny opening 👍 I have had two Transits with bigger shelves than this van, completely open but with a small lip at front, and over 8 years I never had anything fall down. You need small lips at front of all shelves to stop stuff falling out when you open the doors, and on that cubby hole too. Still cannot understand the groove under the worktop 🤔🤔
Thank you. The groove is there so if water was to drip down the sides and then under the worktop the drip channel would stop it there so it didn’t continue to go into the cabinets 👊🏻
Sorry 2 comment mike here🤣 , just saying you can also get a Fiamma tripod for that table, so you could use it out side they are well made but around the £55 mark . You probably know already 👍👍👍🏴🇬🇧🇨🇦🦢

Another great conversion! The details and the creative solutions are amazing!
Thanks mate 👊🏻🚐
Another great build to add to your list, well done 🙂
Thanks guys 💙
Made my day when this popped up. Great build mate.
Thanks Trevor, our next video is another van tour but after that we are going back to our roots showing the work and why we do what we do 👊🏻
Great vlog showing a fantastic conversion. You’ve done it again 👍👍👍
Thank you 💙🚐
Fair play that looks really nice! Loving the details on your builds 😍😎👍🏻
Thanks mate appreciate it 👊🏻🚐
Amazing you guys are 👌…can I ask what is the height and length of the garage under bed…I want to be able to get 2 or 3 EMTB in if possible
Loving the wood effect you do a fantastic job your finish is always amazing 😊
Thank you very much 💙🤣

Another Lovely build pal well done ❤
Thanks bud 👊🏻🚐
Very impressed with the sliding panel protecting the electrics, I'm going to do the same but use two panels on two slides.
Was a good work around for a last minute add on 👊🏻🚐
Gosh it's incredible what you can create in a van space for a family of 5. It looks so beautiful, well done guys. 😊👌
Thanks Lorraine 💙🚐
Another one bites tge dust, great job as usual

great job
where can i get the trims for the bulk head please 😄😄😄
We make them mate 👍🏻🚐
.ive got the same problem on my boxer so i fitted a drip strip on the top edge no problem yet the drip strip is just a tilr edging strip
It’s good to know it prevents it but would love to know why the seal isn’t working, we even checked for damage in the header area but can’t see anything

Your right there, we did have a look for some but could t find any in the unit but got some in now as it would look way better 👊🏻🚐
Beautiful job...again! Xx
Thank you 🫡🚐
Great use of space considering the massive bed. Top notch as always 🎉
Thank you, the bed was a big one for sure 👊🏻🚐
Wow mate another awesome van . Love it well done 👏 ✔️ 👍
Thanks mate 👊🏻🚐
Brilliant Brilliant job pal love it❤
Thanks mate appreciate it 👊🏻
How have you made the seats swivel? Do you have a link to the swivel brackets please.
Hi, Ball park figure how much would this conversion cost minus the van cheers. Keep up the good content.🙂
Thanks mate, budget on this one was about £15k all in 👍🏻🚐

Hi, another great build Stu. Are the rear seats removable? If so, can you give me the name of them please? Very smart
Sorry the customer supplied these ones mate 🚐
Hi,
Yes, These are removable and foldable. They're from a Ford Tourneo and I think we paid around £575 delivered.
Hope this helps.

We use 100mm x 50mm steel box sections to raise them 🚐
@@VanologyConversions Nice one, thanks 🙏

The strip the customer sent to us was an aftermarket seal so did think this may not have helped the situation.
Do you have videos on how to fit the rear seats
We haven’t done one yet but will add it to the list to record our next one 👍🏻🚐
Great van and video,a question please,is it possible to fit extension pods to the back doors? Thanks
I’ve never seen these so wouldn’t know sorry

@@VanologyConversions Thanks a lot! I'll try to find a supplier within the EU since the import costs are insane, much appreciated though!

On this van we run them under the van inside a conduit and clipped 👍🏻

Also used on the citroen relay we built due to same problem
Does the fiamma diverter totally eliminate the leak at top of sliding door?

great job again

Had the same issue with my boxer and Peugeot told me the door was bowed and need a new door to fix the issue
We did check the door and all around the frame and everything looks good, we put it down to a non genuine seal
I had the same issue with my boxer, put a sealing strip above the door and that has solved it
It’s a strange one isn’t it as the door is tight against a brand new seal and still leaks, even tried silicone spray on the seal
Looks awesome
Thank you
Where do you get your fridges from? I need a small fridge.
Jackson’s leisure mate 👍🏻🚐
What seats were used in the back?
