    Excellent demo! I was on the fence about it but I think I'll have to get the controller for when you just want to do a nice and easy fly-around looking at the surroundings.

    I understand all those FPV pilots being pissed about this shortcut to decent footage but they should be bigger than that; this will speed up the development on the field in general and they will benefit from that. So let DJI be the Apple of drones and let people be semi pros if the want to.

      Agreed. Technology and technique improves and makes things easier/better for others. Just because you did things one way doesn’t mean others have to do it the same way.

    Excellent Video, I tried to stop mine by turning it to one side and without pressing the Landing button, so the drone resists a lot and I ended up seriously cutting two fingers

    You can orbit with the motion controller, it depends on the speed and how quickly you turn, the cross when at speed and turning hard is that it flies like in a orbit for quarter to half a circle before moving forward again

    i just knew this was coming so I jumped over from your last vid! very smooth operator! incredible controller, but even with obstacle avoidance do you think a bird could collide with it? thanks for sharing!

    • @ten15studios20
      @ten15studios20  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s possible. However I believe it’s more likely the drone collide with a bird than vice versa due to the speed capability of the drone being nearly 90 mph. Objective avoidance is made for larger objects so it may or may not stop. However at the slower speeds if a bird wants collide with it there’s little you can do other than land if the bird gives warnings.

    How do you record the audio? Is this done with an attached periphery or my failing to see something in my FPV settings?

    Great intro video of the Motion Controller. I completely agree it is intuitive to learn to use, more challenging to race in sport or manual. I think it will only get better. Do you or any of your followers know if DJI is going to permit this Motion Controller to operate with the Air 2S drones?? Heard earlier this year that it was coming, but cannot find anything about that possibility. would be super to use with the enhanced cameras in 2S and mavic 3. Thanks for this demo. Clear and useful to start

    • @ten15studios20
      @ten15studios20  ปีที่แล้ว

      I heard some rumblings as well regarding using the motion controller for the mavic line, but nothing came out of it. My guess it has something to do with maintaining VLOS, visual line of sight. With FPV you're supposed to fly with a spotter since you're wearing goggles. So perhaps they didn't mavic flyers to be wearing goggles. Just my thoughts.

    • @ten15studios20
      @ten15studios20  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Indeed. The is DJI’s first foray into an all inclusive FPV system. I foresee once DJI gets feedback from users this product will improve. DJI does this with all their products.

    I had one for a day. I sent it back. It is not even close the precision of the radio controller. I found it to be exhausting to keep my hand in position.
    Every little move with my hand translated to the drone moving. I am old school, I will keep flying with the radio.
    I could not justify the 200 dollars for what I would get out of it.
    I appreciate that you mention this in your video.
    Otherwise I love the FPV drone. I would not be flying FPV if this was not available.
    I am an old school LOS pilot, this is my first experience with FPV.

    • @ten15studios20
      @ten15studios20  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think that with enough practice that this can be pretty precise. I tried the motion controller with the simulator and I was able to get it to go into some very tight spots. However, I still prefer the regular controller because as I am progressing in my FPV skills, I don't want to limit my flying capabilities.

    I faced some issues hand catching it with the MC today. Was very windy, on top of a small rock and I didn't want the drone to flip on the ground. I was not able to shut the motors off, apparently it detected that I pulled it to the ground and it tried to escape by pushing the motors to their max. I finally held it until the battery was emptied. Will try again in a more secure environment.

    • @ten15studios20
      @ten15studios20  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Exactly, make sure to have a non windy environment when hand catching with the MC. When hand catching, make sure to let the FPV initiate the landing procedure. Don’t grab it until it begins to come down on it’s own.

    Is it possible to control it with two controllers (i.e motion+remote) for intervention purposes?

    • @ten15studios20
      @ten15studios20  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not that I'm aware of. For intervention DJI gives the pause button. It stops everything and only resumes when the user is ready to.

      @burakurgancoglu6908 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ten15studios20 Ah, thanks for your answer. EU regulations require a second pilot to be present(with the capability to interrupt) during immersion flights. That's why I've asked.

    • @ten15studios20
      @ten15studios20  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've looked through the settings and I couldn't find that one either. I'm guessing DJI doesn't want users changing that considering how fast the battery drains.

    You prefer to use controller or sticks to fly this?

    • @ten15studios20
      @ten15studios20  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends. For ease of use, nothing beats the motion controller. You literally point at a spot and it goes there. However for more technical flying you need the sticks.
