SGA: Do NOT tell people to finish Enigma Protocol!!! Farming the first chest in Enigma Protocol and quitting at the half way point will guarantee a double perk Dawn weapon every single chest. Including Marty. Can solo speed run in 3-5 minutes. Farm as many as you want but do NOT complete EP, it will stop your double perk drops account wide until reset.
I'm sticking to the simple roll: ALH + Incandescent. Fire and forget, use the origin if I need immediate reloads, and personally I have enough primaries with Heal + Incan I really don't need another of the same rolls (what a boring vault that would be). Also for major/champ damage: A damage perk + the origin trait with a multi-tick melee like Smoke Bomb lets you mag dump 5-7 rounds at full RPM . This can melt some of the chunkier enemies. Paired with a damage perk I could see this not being too bad as a backup for when youre out of Heavy or your Primary won't cut it.
I've got a varglas build that'll do good with envious and incandescent. I use to use the void grenade launcher with auto load and destabilizing. If you shatter the stasis crystals with the wave, but swith back to your bow before they're destroyed, it'll count towards the bows exotic perk.
Its everything I thought it would be when the refresh got leaked months ago. Worth the wait 100%. I got Autoloading and Incan on my first roll, and that's good enough until I get a Heal Clip / Incan roll.
With its origin trait, you can use Snare Bomb and stick it on a boss and have it constantly feeding ammo so you don't have to reload, and I believe you can overflow the mag with the seasonal artifact mod
btw envious overflows 1 shot weapons on 1 kill, the same as the reloading part so if it is loaded, you can get a single kill with another weapon, change back to marty with 2 on the mag and then shoot it or swap back for 3 shots
I partially disagree with the god roll opinion. The only reason I'm using a wave frame, especially in end game content, is so that I can immediately fully clear a red bar group. There is only one perk on this weapon that guarantees you can do that in a gm, and thats Envious Assassin. I guess bungie doesnt want any more wave frames to have the top tier overflow perks like forbearance. Outside of easier content, If you use anything other than envious assassin, you cannot use a single shot to fully clear a group because most of the ads you hit will still have a very small amount of health left. The only reason why I said I only partially disagree with your opinion is because this gun has both the melee reload origin trait and demolitionist to refill on grenade throws, so that makes it much easier with strand and prismatic builds to ensure you almost always have an instant reload option for follow up shots.
Envious is underrated I used to run with ammit and tusk of the boar with envious/chain reaction on my strand build and it worked wonders I would clear rooms in seconds
The fact there are like 3-4 wave frame GLs better than Dead Messenger just blows my mind. Was it that hard to give it voltshot, incandescent and destabilizing rounds according to the element you have on? It looks outdated now. Sure it would be powerful but you can reduce its power by reducing the amount of ammo, for example.

It seems Enigma Protocal has a cap on double perks per week. I always get a couple on my first 2 runs or so a week, then no matter how many I do after that, I never get anymore until reset.
The demo-adrenal combo is what I want to rock with a thermite Titan wearing Path of Burning steps since it all synergizes there. I feel like that’ll let marty compete better in endgame.
I guess i'm not sure what you mean by unable to focus. I completed the speciman 7, and started working on 8 (wasn't completed yet), and I was able to focus 4 engrams to buy a marty. took me 18 tries in order to get HC/Incan.
Id rather play void and run Deafening Whisper with ambitious assassin and autoloading holster, and use the aspects to get an overshield on volatile explosion. Heal is good and all but an overshield trumps Heal any day.
In my opinion, this is the best wave frame in the game PERIOD. It bets every other wave frame including forebareance. It does what forebareance does but also ties into our subclass and can also spark ignitions. I went crazy when i saw my matyr with heal clip and incandescent drop in my inventory. I didnt even know at that time it could roll that. It is insane and if you say it isnt you are a clown. Also if you still say forebareance is better you are also clowning. Bungie did it. They finally gave us a wave frame better than forebareance.
Solar synergy while being the 2nd best wave frame. Forbearance only has synergy with arc, though it's still great at neutral. Heal Clip, Auto Loading, Envious + Incanescent or Desperate Measures (leaning towards Incandescent) is great. Plus it actually procs solar subclass verbs. If you don't care, just use forbearance.

Heal clip is only good on solar when you're playing with a team. I rather use Demo because solar titan is extremely bad. Fight me. Its bad. You can't convince me. 2.0 was better. That being said, this weapon would have been broken in PvP if knockout wasn't nerfed. The origin perk and Desperate Measures would allow you to be a absolute aggressive menace

Yo Cross, I got a build for this week that’s a ton of fun and generates the most orbs on the team while outputting some major damage. It’ll be good after this week but unlimited sword ammo really makes this potent
Lmk if you want my full loadout but here’s a general idea: Gyrfalcon’s Hauberk, Heartshadow, Vanishing Step (trappers might be bugged), and Stylish Execution on Nightstalker Infinite invis, weaken like crazy, Heartshadow is a primary weapon this week, you can play super aggressive
It's targetable at Failsafe, that's enough. I hate getting to the end of a season with 99 season of episode redacted engrams and nothing to spend them on. This system is fine.
Having everything craftable ruins the point of a looter shooter. I say less craftable more RNG. That way engrams have some use RN I immediately dismantle 97% of my drops
Please dear God can we not make everything craftable? The main gameplay loop of a looter-shooter is the loot. If we remove the grind for that by making every God roll easily obtainable you create a game that has nothing to come back to. I mean look at all the raids that have craftable weapons. Literally 0 reason to step back into a full raid outside of the last encounter for the raid exotic. Adepts gives that little bit of chase but other than that? You get your borders then you're just forever done with that content. I don't see how that's a good thing. I mean is anyone even running things like Crota anymore because outside of Necro and it's catty, I don't think I've seen a single fireteam posted for it in the last month or two. I'd rather us dive deeper into focus farming either by targeting it like we can now with the Dawn and seasonal weapons, attunement systems like with BRAVE and the attunement for Class exotics, stuff like that. We need a safety net, not a check list.

{As seen in the comments} Don’t complete it. Just quit at the first chest. Rinse and repeat. “Cap” kicks in when completing full runs.

First drop I got incandescent and heal clip even though I originally wanted heal clip and kill clip but honestly incandescent is the way to go

You had to finish the first step or two of NES008 to be able to focus it but the whole quest doesn’t need to be completed to unlock the focusing

why would you run a perk that requires add clear on an add clear weapon? envious assassin is not a good perk on this weapon.
