Hey just wanted to write this to thank you all for the amazing support I saw from you all today. I really appreciate all the kind words everyone is saying, I read EVERY single comment I just can't respond to them all but know that I saw them and appreciated you taking time to write something :) And for thank you also for everyone trying to help me by saying different reasons for it being declined ranging from my account being named The Real Ashnflash to it not being built out of real LEGO bricks. The reason LEGO said was it being declined is because it falls under their third-party umbrella. I read the rules and double checked it said nothing about it not being allowed to be drawn. I have a render of the set and might try and upload it but it isn't the issue. Many sets are approved based off of renders from different programs - just chose to use Adobe Photoshop :) Anyways thanks again, I love you all so much - you're the best community I could ever have asked for
@@Joseph_Drew_III imagine if instead it was a leviathan and not a Nexo knights reject (btw leviathans are the flying whales the chitauri use ,in fact the set HAS a mini one lol) I'm not saying it's a bad design , I'm just saying it's horribly inaccurate and shouldn't be in an endgame set and if a competent designer /actual fan / someone designing off of the actual movie and not concept art , these sets would be much better .
Absolutely Studios only 6 out of the 27 ideas sets released have been something I’d consider “space” themed. That’s 1 out of the last 9 with that 1 being the “Space Rocket Ride” which was a promo set.
Maybe you have to actually build the set. Remember the sonic ideas set was declined because it wasn’t physically built. I do hope you try again because that set is AMAZING you did a great job!
I would totally buy this set if it was accepted. I’m still mad at them for rejecting Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Also, love the designs of the characters, and that you made Savage bigger than the others.

The same thing happened when I made a Brickheadz of Mario. They told me that because Lego didn't own the Nintendo License, I couldn't post it. And do you know what I see underneath my project's page? Fact of the matter is that it would’ve gotten rejected anyways. Your Disney comparison was pretty much comparing apples to oranges since the Disney license itself has always been loose with the rules. No matter how you look at it, this would’ve been considered a purely dc superheroes set, therefore it doesn’t work for LEGO ideas.
That set would have been AWESOME! I love Young Justice, so I would have definitely gotten it. LEGO doesn’t exactly, shall I say, follow the fans. I kind’ve understand why, but they’re not the people going, looking for, and buying the sets. I feel so sorry for you. All the time and effort you put into such an awesome idea, and it gets declined. Ugh. Much feelings for you, fellow LEGO fan.
I agree with you and I would Totally buy and support any set the you release. How about you do a TH-camrs based set with PewDiePie and his chair, you with a marker and paper, just2good, DanTDM with a blue minecart build, odd1sout with a book piece, a building with the TH-cam Logo on front, and a bunch of other TH-camrs

I think LEGO is just trying to be more cautious about people getting mad if they submit an idea and a similar set gets produced (like the Jurassic Park gate and the Ghostbusters HQ), so a DC set would be at a higher risk for that (no idea about Starfire though, maybe it just slipped through). It sucks that it was rejected after all the work you put in, but I really enjoyed the video. I haven't watched Young Justice but that's a great set.
I thin I think is because of the drawn style. Because with the brick head of Starfire, that one was rendered and looks like a picture of the set. So maybe if you try uploading your sets rendered as if they were real, not drawings maybe they would accept it. I know this is an old video but I hope you could read and try again, I would love to see this set.
I'm pretty sure projects need to be either digitally or fysically build. But Ideas is only a shadow of what it once was, its now pretty much just space and Disney sets

Ahh that sucks man! I’ve had similar issues with LEGO Ideas in the past, and it would have been really cool to see yours as a real set. Side note - The SteamBoat Willy project was uploaded to LEGO Ideas long before the Project Guildlines specified no “Mickey and Minnie”

This sucks, man. I'm a big fan of Young Justice myself (I've made two full drafts, for crying out loud) and was really rooting for this project. I pray you have wisdom for the next course of action!
I agree because not only is the "No Lego themes that already exist rule" in my opinion very limiting like you said they already have broken the rule. Also the inappropriateness block of the sets while is definitely needed doesn't make sense what they consider inappropriate and what's not. I very much hop Lego fixes this so when I become 13 next year and want to do Lego Ideas I don't have to worry about the set getting rejected for no reason.
My main thought of why it may have been declined is Vandal Savage. The mods might’ve confused it for a new mold and this declined both versions. Or maybe the Hagrid mold is licensed exclusively to Harry Potter? It could help to resubmit with a standard minifigure version.
I don't know anything about Young Justice but this set looks amazing and it sucks that Lego rejected it. It's clear a lot of work went into it and I think it looks awesome.

I agree what happened to you is not fair. I would have bought this set because you designed it even though I don’t watch young justice. I think if they make expectations for one person, everyone should be excepted.
Wow! Looks awesome! One tip: Building ot woth actual blocks will have a bigger chance of getting 10k, ofcourse it's not like of you don't you won't get 10k, but it's more likely. I have no expiernce myself, but this is a tip winners mostly give
It’s no wonder it was declined. LEGO doesn’t want to back themselves into a corner thus why they won’t make licensed sets, they want to be able to make sets using the characters themselves, if they open it up to ideas then there would be a flood of so many sets that are existing properties they want to be able to use themselves.

the movie in which Vandal Savage Appears (Justice League: Cosmic Clash) didn't use the Hagrid body for Savage. They used the longer legs and arms like Woody and Jessies from the first Lego Toy Story round of sets. The hair/beard piece used was the CMF caveman's and the robe was a longer variant of the CMF Judges robe. I also thought it was Hagrid's body at first but when you see him without the robe it becomes more obvious. I do think that the use of the Hagrid body does work well though.
Hey Ashnflash, I would buy this set in a heartbeat!!! I love young justice. Could you possibly do a CMF mini figure series for minifigures that have shown up in Lego DC games but have never been made into actual figures? I’ve always wanted Clayface and Mad hatter since LEGO Batman 1, and there are many more I want to see!
I love Young Justice! You really brought life to this set, and that's very impressive. Really sad this idea got rejected, but I hope Young Justice sets are possible in the future.

I watched the bricks and bits podcast where they address your project and listened to why they thought you were maybe a little unjust, but after watching this video and the points you bring up it does seem unfair on your part. I will say though that on the 90th anniversary project for steam boat Willie, Disney may have basically demanded lego or gave them extra money to push that project.
Don't give up hope. I think this will open alot of people's eyes to an impeccably reasonable point and will hopefully call for a change in how Lego operate thier ideas set selection. All of your subscribers, including myself, proudly have your back on this one! I hope to see it on stores soon.👍😉
This sucks! I'm so sorry man! It seems like Lego shows no love for DC, which really sucks! I hope that at the least they would take some inspiration and make a young Justice set, if this really is breaking some rules and guidelines.
The rule is a fairly new rule, so projects that have been out there for a while like the starfire one which has only 7 days left was submitted before the rule was made. I found this out when I was supporting a LEGO Star Labs set and the creator explained that if they didn’t reach enough supporters, they could not resubmit their project due to the new rule. Even if they did, it would still have a low chance of being picked as it was a licensed product. Hopefully one day we may get to see a Star Labs though. Especially considering that they count CW sets such as the Arrow brick head as a product that is under a current license.
Even though they declined it, it still looks ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! If you make another set I will 100% support it! Your a great youtuber, keep doing what your doing!
It's just because they already own the DC Property. Not sure how the Starfire Brickheadz made it through - both Starfire and Brickheadz should not be allowed on LEGO Ideas. I disagree that LEGO Ideas is broken, they're trying their best. It seems unfair to me that you're going after them, but I see your frustration.
I think if they allow one thing they need to allow everything. And the Steamboat Willie set literally breaks the no Mickey and Minnie rule. To me that's broken :/

I agree what happened to you is not fair. I would have bought this set because you designed it even though I don’t watch young justice. I think if they make expectations for one person, everyone should be excepted.
Wow! Looks awesome! One tip: Building ot woth actual blocks will have a bigger chance of getting 10k, ofcourse it's not like of you don't you won't get 10k, but it's more likely. I have no expiernce myself, but this is a tip winners mostly give
It’s no wonder it was declined. LEGO doesn’t want to back themselves into a corner thus why they won’t make licensed sets, they want to be able to make sets using the characters themselves, if they open it up to ideas then there would be a flood of so many sets that are existing properties they want to be able to use themselves.

the movie in which Vandal Savage Appears (Justice League: Cosmic Clash) didn't use the Hagrid body for Savage. They used the longer legs and arms like Woody and Jessies from the first Lego Toy Story round of sets. The hair/beard piece used was the CMF caveman's and the robe was a longer variant of the CMF Judges robe.
I also thought it was Hagrid's body at first but when you see him without the robe it becomes more obvious. I do think that the use of the Hagrid body does work well though.
Hey Ashnflash, I would buy this set in a heartbeat!!! I love young justice. Could you possibly do a CMF mini figure series for minifigures that have shown up in Lego DC games but have never been made into actual figures? I’ve always wanted Clayface and Mad hatter since LEGO Batman 1, and there are many more I want to see!

I watched the bricks and bits podcast where they address your project and listened to why they thought you were maybe a little unjust, but after watching this video and the points you bring up it does seem unfair on your part. I will say though that on the 90th anniversary project for steam boat Willie, Disney may have basically demanded lego or gave them extra money to push that project.

This sucks! I'm so sorry man! It seems like Lego shows no love for DC, which really sucks! I hope that at the least they would take some inspiration and make a young Justice set, if this really is breaking some rules and guidelines.

Never watched the show but the characters and set looks amazing
The rule is a fairly new rule, so projects that have been out there for a while like the starfire one which has only 7 days left was submitted before the rule was made.
I found this out when I was supporting a LEGO Star Labs set and the creator explained that if they didn’t reach enough supporters, they could not resubmit their project due to the new rule. Even if they did, it would still have a low chance of being picked as it was a licensed product.
Hopefully one day we may get to see a Star Labs though. Especially considering that they count CW sets such as the Arrow brick head as a product that is under a current license.

It's just because they already own the DC Property. Not sure how the Starfire Brickheadz made it through - both Starfire and Brickheadz should not be allowed on LEGO Ideas. I disagree that LEGO Ideas is broken, they're trying their best. It seems unfair to me that you're going after them, but I see your frustration.
I think if they allow one thing they need to allow everything. And the Steamboat Willie set literally breaks the no Mickey and Minnie rule. To me that's broken :/
@@Ashnflash I agree about Steamboat Willie. That seemed weird to me, especially considering the Disney CMFs released at the same time. I disagree with allowing everything, but they should be more specific with the rules.
