My wife approached him to get his for our kids. He was talking to the teammate on his left throughout. Didn't say a word to her or even look at her. Somehow he managed to look at the teammate even while signing. Had probably done it so often he didn't need to look at his pen-work. When he finished signing, he dropped the pen and the book at his feet, though she was right next to him. That was the Matthew Ridge experience. Thanks, Matthew, what a quality guy.
