- In this video I take you through step-by-step of using the Eurotunnel from Folkestone and how to drive to Disneyland Paris.
The Eurotunnel is the quickest way to cross the channel, taking only 35 minutes, and the drive to Disneyland Paris takes approximately 3 hours from Calais.

This video is very important because it is offer a visual content about Le Shuttle, recorded by one british gentleman with a sweet and clear voice. The voice is fantastic for English learners like me.
Thank you!
Thank you so much for uploading this video! We go in about 2 weeks and will be first time driving abroad and using the tunnel! We was getting very nervous but this was a brilliant walkthrough and put our minds at ease 😊 really appreciate it
Thanks so much! Hope you have an amazing time!
Really clear and valuable video, thank you
Tysm for this! We are gonna go around in 3 weeks to Disneyland Paris for 3 days, and this is a really informative video. I’ll make sure to watch this on the way!
Have a great time!
Great video to watch such clear and precise directions, we go in August our first time , will get my husband to watch this too as he will probably be doing most of the driving thank you 😊
Thanks Joanne! It’s a really easy drive, with lots of services to stop at on the way. Have a great time!
This video was so helpful - thank you 😊
No problem!
This is a great video we go in around 2 weeks and cannot wait. Random question but are there any tunnels on this route from Calais to Disney? I suffer from anxiety so I’m going by the ferry instead of the shuttle.
Thanks from video
You’re welcome!
Good video. 25-30 years ago when I first went in it, it was very different. You could go to the right after check in straight to the train, there was seldom anyone in passport control and you were given a number to follow at check in displayed on the digital signs (the one that says ‘follow’) where the barrier goes up instead of a man holding something up.
Brexit made it more complicated. Now there's a mandatory passport control and the marking of entry and exit to and from the EU and additional fencing etc.
Great video, very informative, thank you!! 🙏🏼 we are planning to go to Disney next month hopefully 😅 just a quick question, do we stay inside the car during the 35min that takes from Folkestone to Calais?😬
No you can get out the car and walk around but obviously there’s not much to see 😃 there are toilets on board the train too
Hi, Great great video. If you don't mind, how much did this ROUGHLY/APPROX cost in total. Thanks
I can’t remember exactly but I booked it about 6 months in advance and it cost around £150 return
I'm driving first time to France
How did it go?
Hi great video with very clear video and voice.
Which website did you use to book the train ticket ?
Thanks
Thanks! We just booked it on the eurotunnel website
Thanks
Hello, thanks for the video. Did you hit any toll areas and if so how much did it cost you?
Sorry for the late reply, we’ve been on holiday. The motorway to Paris is a toll road, it costs about £25
@@familyexploring thank you :)
At what point do you get the hanger?
The very first window you get to when you check in prints it out for you

Thanks! The driving doesn’t have any tunnels but you do pass under the taxiway for CdG airport. It’s like driving under a couple of big bridges rather than a tunnel
