    It’s fast isn’t it … I used Eurostar two weeks after it opened!!! Many years ago.. fast and fabulous. It felt strange, as we usually have to get on a ferry, cruise or fly to get ‘off’ our island to Europe

    Thankyou so much for doing this.
    We are using the Euro star for the 1st time in a couple of weeks.
    That queue is VERY scary.
    Can I ask what else is the other side other than just a coffee shop?
    If we took drinks and food with us before security would we get the drinks confiscated the same as going on a plane?

      There’s a coffee shop, shop and that’s about it. But tbh hardly in there for long before getting on the train. I imagine you can take food / drink but I don’t personally think it’s necessary. Also loads of restaurants before going through check in

      Our 2 played a game of if we were in France or England.... even with the phone app(map) we couldn't guess right .We were in France before the app caught up with us!
      Word of warning though..... even if you choose your seats when you book it doesn't mean you won't find someone else.sitting there. We had this on the journey going out and back.

    Nice and best way to travel to Disneyland Paris to be honest, makes it more magical, gives views of both Kent and French countryside's as you travel. Last went on Eurostar to Disneyland in 2017 with family, was before Eurostar's Class 373's were fully refurbished, which compared to new look and inside interior is a different experience. Will be interesting if and when the London Resort happens as that will be hopefully direct from Ebbsfleet International Station via shuttle. Nice video, cheers for sharing. *BREAKING NEWS*
    This route (London to Disney) will be permanently cancelled. If you like to go, you need to book, go and return BEFORE 5 June 2023.
    There are several alternative train routes, but they allnincludecat least one train change in France. That might be a bit inconvenient if you are travelling with kids, since you need to get all your stuff off and onto another train, and then the same thing back. The least inconvenient route is Eurostar to Lille in France, and then change onto a TGV train all the way to Disney. Do NOT change in Paris. We did and found that you need to change train station in Paris so you need to get on and off the Underground with all the stuff too... not fun!

      They’re cancelling this service to Disneyland? Ugh! We’re coming from Las Vegas for a cruise out out South Hampton at the end of June, and we are HUGE Disney fans (annual passholders for Disneyland). We are planning on coming into London a few days before the cruise, heading to Disneyland Paris for a day or two, then back to London for the cruise. The transfers in Paris look nightmarish with luggage. Has this Route cancellation been confirmed? Have they said why? Thanks for all the information!

    • @peterjaro6804
      @peterjaro6804 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@billcooper4525 yes, it has been confirmed... sadly! What they have said is that they will review it in 2025 and then MIGHT start it up again, but the last train will be 2023 late spring/early summer (June). DON'T go through Paris. That is a nightmare... the best route then will be Eurostar to the Northern French city of Lille. There you change into a TGV train (French Railways) that goes straight to Disney. It's not that convenient since you need to unload and then re-load everything you have onto another train, but it is 100% better than going through Paris. Believe me!!!

    • @TravelBlogJamie
      @TravelBlogJamie  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@billcooper4525 my recommendation is to travel via Lille - it’s quite a straightforward route and doesn’t add on a huge amount of time - I’ve taken this route previously when the direct train was either full or very expensive
