    Hill is a unique athlete. He squats 650 lbs. runs a 4.4 forty when he first got into the league. His ability to run, pass, and catch. In high school he was an elite punter. He can literally do it all!

    As a Saints fan his football IQ is def underrated. He plays QB, RB, TE, KR, PR, ST and is able to do them all for the most part with some level of competency and I think the Seahawks game just showed him running on all cylinders at every one of those positions.

    I think taysom is a special case. There was no doubt that he was very good when he was in college. He electrified the crowd with his ability. His biggest setback was that he was injury prone in college. He missed a large portion of 3 seasons due to injuries. Because of this, it looked like the NFL wasn't going to be willing to take a chance on him.
    Taysom is lucky to be in the NFL, and he knows it. So he has the humility to take on any position that they ask him just to get a shot at playing time. Not too many other players, especially quarterbacks are willing to do the same thing.

SEAN hmmmm, yeah he took a chance, worked with Taysom while Drew Breeze {:>) could still mentor Taysom, Taysom was willing to go crazy in the weight room and the added strength seems to have protected him from injuries in the NFL. The Taysom Hill position requires a lot of humility. Taysom, as an ultra athlete, has to be willing not to be on the field all the time and have energy for specialized plays even late in the game. The starting QB and RB have to be willing to hand over their glory roles on 3rd and short and on touchdown plays. Takes special people who probably respect each other on and off the field.

    As far as I am concerned, the Winston and Dalton experiment is over. I think they should give Hill a shot and I mean a legit shot. He is 7-2 as a starter and modifying the offense to more of an RPO type offense with he and Kamara in the backfield would be the way to move forward in my opinion. I think people forget MT had some really big games with Taysom at QB. The whole team seems to pick it up when Taysom is in charge. Wait......what?? Did you just say "he may not be the best athlete on the field"? He's the best all around athlete to ever walk the face of the earth!!! So by a million country miles the most athletic man on the field! If people knew what those of us around him knew? They would literally be shocked! Literally everything the guy dose he is not good but phenomenal. He took a semester in college while recovering from an injury and entered the world of finance in an internship type role. Had multiple hedge funds and other financial institutions offering huge numbers to hire him!! Go play him in golf or name anything... you will get smoked point blank period! And this goes for anyone. A 10 sport/any life event contest head to head?? Not a person alive or too have ever lived that would even be close to competing with him! I know it sounds wierd but it's true

    The guys mentioned are all too small and too light and too slow. Taysom is already a little short and a little too light for the TE role. And he is faster than all those prospects. I don't think they have the same upside that Taysom did.

    • @0Clewi0
      @0Clewi0 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      What was Taysom's weight in college? Also He did a weight gain this season as TE* and has done the swiss army position with less weight at first, and it does take time, I believe it was until wk 14 his first season that he got ST reps.

    • @gruanger
      @gruanger 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@0Clewi0 @0Clewi0 Taysom's weight has always varied between 215 and 230. His body generally likes being light but during the season he usually sits at 230 including during college. The only time he came in a little less was last year in the NFL. He was 230 for his draft profile

    I actually want to bring up a very interesting weakness Taysom has: on plays where the read decides whether to keep on an inside run or to hand the ball off to Kamara going wide, he makes a glaringly wrong read (usually in favor of him keeping the ball) often enough for it to show on tape.

      Go watch his QB highlights from last year and you'll change your mind. He said he needed more reps for experience and to gain rhythm. Before last year he was considered a rookie at QB. Even with mallet finger he did find his rhythm. Watch and be amazed. His long passes were dimes. He is a great QB. His last game he had a QBR of 153.

    • @dockterchina
      @dockterchina 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Given a few more games I think he would have proven you wrong. What is his record in how many starts? He electrifies his team. Other than that bad game against the cowboys he has been pretty effective.

    • @joybischoff9558
      @joybischoff9558 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@dockterchina You are right. Even in the Dallas game where he got mallet finger at the end of the first quarter and amazingly kept playing, he fought hard. No Kamara, the 2 best O-line players out, WRs from the practice squad, and he puts the team on his back and ran over 100 yards since they kept dropping passes. The others had given up.
      In the 4th quarter, 3 passes were tipped to Dallas defenders. One of those interceptions was on Taysom. But with mallet finger?
      Despite that, his last 3 games were incredible. Sean had designed a low scoring offense because of the decimated offense, and he said Taysom played it perfectly. His low stats were the consequence but Taysom was loyal to coach. His last game he had a QBR of 153. His long passes were dimes.
