Got the gold edition which includes everything for 30 dollars its like 100 dollars regularly. Right now I'm playing odyssey so after that I'll start origin
Real Gamer Review odyssey is good but it doesn’t really talk about the brotherhood it’s good but don’t name a game that has nothing to do with the name just saying.
Exactly the same, playing Odyssey and just about to get Origins, but in the Xbox store the gold edition isn't on sale, the base game is at £11 (about $15) and once you start adding the season pass it's iffy whether to bother or just hold out for a better deal. The PS store seems to be discounting better by the sound of it.
I've just picked it up on the steam sale and I'm having an absolute blast. The Assassin's Creed games get some slack online but I'm an absolute history nut so I'm having a blast exploring the world, it's really fun. It's holding my interest far more than RDR2 did.
History nut here too. Origins literally brought me to tears in its final moments -- and if you understand the implications and fundamentals of the time period, chances are it will make you cry too. Without getting into the thick of it, the story was just so well cemented on cultures and practices, alongside self-exploration and the exploration of one of my most favourite periods in a long history of Egypt, that it cannot be ignored. Looking forward to picking up Valhalla this Christmas -- so blessed to have a game based around my ancestors, and I can't wait to toy around the wondrous landscapes of Norway and 9th century England.
Well for the last assassins creed game I played was assassins creed unity, like I played it on lunch, it was bad, but the only assassins creeds I haven't played, are the 3 newest ones, my fav one is Ac2
Ik im abit late but for anyone considering buying this game you will not be disappointed. Great open world, interesting characters and a good enough story. One of my favourite ac games and is in my opinion a lot better then odyssey (which its commonly compared to)
@@marinpazanin9503 I did like it because it’s just not as complicated when it comes to gear and weapons like other RPG also the story is very good to me
@George depends on what kind of story u wanna play and setting do u prefer ancient Egypt with the story of the first assassins or an endless land with snow pretty much everywhere and a type of story telling very similar to odyssey(different story of course)also I am not sure about Valhalla but I don’t think u get a hidden blade unless u buy a certain dlc but I am not sure if this is true but in origins u will get it by level 10-15
@ssilence tbh I really got no clue what the season pass gives you but if you are buying dlc and other stuff for origins I recommend just buying the gold edition and not buying each thing separately because really weapons and skins don’t affect the game play that much and it’s an offline game that u will finish and probably never touch again unless u wanna replay the story
I’ve played every AC game so far (except for AC rogue). After AC syndicate, which was disappointing in my opinion, I kind of took a break from playing AC. Therefore I ignored Origins. Playing Odyssey got me hooked again which led to me buying Valhalla. I’ve played Valhalla for 20 hours already and love the game a lot! After hearing the story of Reda in Valhalla which was about Origins apparently, I was interested in this game. Your video was really helpful and perfect for my situation. I’ll expect that Origins has a little downgrade gameplay wise compared to Odyssey and Valhalla but it’s the storyline which I am really interested in. In short, good video!
Assassin's Creed Origins is my favourite in the series. I have completed it 5 times now and will probably go back to it and complete it again. Best setting Best combat Best main character Best story Best sound track
Bought a brand new game for $15 from Amazon. Man, this game is amazing. Map size is gignatic. You can still do a LOT of stealth assassination which is my favorite choice, also to boost XP. I played non-stop for 7 hours since delivered. Graphic isn't as great as RDR2 but especially horses look terrible. I ride camel most of time, so that's fine. Combat mechanics are kind of confusing but I'm sure I'll get used to it. Coming from playing RDR2, control feels really light.
After 102 hours of constant exploring and farming I got to the final boss of the curse of the pharaohs DLC with my character overleveled and full equipment. Still died in 1 hit (played the full game in nightmare difficulty and was pretty easy). I tried to play full stealth and it is so much funnier than going rambo mode (which is possible in every game of the saga but more in this one with the adittion of super op bows).
Guys if you would like to purchase the game at a discounted price, I provided links for almost all of the game's different versions for ps4 & Xbox One digital & Physical versions, check it out in the description box!
Origins was my first assasins creed game ... I tried playing all from AC 1 on pc but couldn’t enjoy the clunky and old graphics of older games and the mechanics of old game engine after playing Origins. Odyssey was a huge disappointment to play after Origins. The characters, Alexios and Kassandra just do not seem much emotionally engaged or have a desire or reason ... Bayek wanted revenge for his son’s death, he and his wife devoted their life to achieve that goal which even pushed them apart and broke their family and both got seperated. While odyssey was just like you are a mercenary no real reason to choose a side between Athens and sparta, either kill your dad or save him, either kill ur sibling or save them whatever and the rest of game is just side missions and you do missions for both Athens and sparta, coz ofc u r a mercenary, u pick no sides and since there is no side which the character picks and the main story is killing the cultists so you could save your sibling or kill them, i mean the character hasn’t even made up their mind or a goal about if he wants to reunite the family or if he actually hates them and wants nothing to do ....There is a lack of motive for the player to do so ... while in origins u had the motive since the beginning, your son was killed now go get revenge and kill the Order ...
Origins wasnt my first ac game, but it is my favorite thus far. I only played a couple of hours of Odyssey, but as far as the character goes, i think it's more intented for you to be the character. You can decide who you support, want to kill or not want to kill. While not entirely the same (bc Halo does have a set path), it's like the master chief. he's a bad ass super soldier and the main character, but he barely says anything. and yet so many people really like him. it's because we get to be him. edit: now i dont know if the main character of odyssey was intended that way, but you could see it like that (with the limited experience of playing the game i had)
I'm a bit late... But for its price (15€ for deluxe edition in discount) U get a great video game. It's fun to explore the open world even if U completed the story. I got over 60 hours in the game and I'm still playing :)

Nice detailed (re)review, but I was hoping you'd lean more towards an opinion on whether it's a good purchase at the end of 2020, especially compared to Odyssey. It's getting older and as you said there are good deals on it, but is the game something I need to play now or just wait for really cheapo deals down the line.
If you like the AC series then definitely Origins deserves being purchased at the end of 2020, also if you compare Origins & Odyssey both are very similar when it comes to the graphics and gameplay except for the location & story of course, but I would recommend purchasing Origins, Odyssey is pretty good as well but I felt that it has a lot of repetitive side missions which can be a bit boring.

That's a pretty good deal!
I know this is off topic but you play far cry so maybe you can halp I’m trying to play far cry 3 classic adition with friends but I can’t I’ve them it that game just solo only
Actually Far Cry 3 classic edition is only a single player adventure for people who likes the game and wants to play it again with some visual enhancements, Ubisoft never activated the online option in it, hope that helps :)
Real Gamer Review oh that’s sad ☹️ thanks 🙏
why is this shit still $60 on steam??? I have it on Uplay, but damn i'd rather play it with controller support without having to download third party software
This and Odyssey are both in a bundle for 25$ right in the Microsoft store. I just got it today. It’s called the Antiquity pack
Eywallah habibi
So Ubisoft need to keep improving the graphics and fighting mechanics
Another reason to ignore comments on TH-cam
Its $60 on steam 😂
I got the pirate copy and beat all the quest, opened every possible location on thr map. If i buy the original game will i get more content as new quest like they put in odyssey all th3 time
Oh yea
Game is flat out boring.

Does AC ORIGINS run smoothly on PS4 slim because I recently played AC UNITY on PS4 slim and it is completely Unplayable due to Massive framedrops.
