I always liked choosing Codie for the slimes commander. Using a lot of 1 mana, untap target creature to find Profane Tutor with Codies ability to find Thurming Stone, Surgical Extraction, or Divergent Transformation. Plus, theres a lot of tutors that need you to sac an artifact to get another to field, and Codie fits that roll perfectly.
