I found Misha through the Meshuggah forum and for 4 years I was sustained on his SoundClick uploads before the first Periphery album was released. His simple rough tracks added a unique richness in it's own way to my musical/spiritual world and became part of the soundtrack to my life. It was a special experience in itself... finding him, getting deep into the music, watching his project develop with the band... even the online humor. So keep in mind, even your demos can change someone's life.
Great interview, Misha always sounds like a really kind, reasonable and down to earth guy :)
Edit: oh, and thumbs up for talking about mental health, there's always a chance that fan listening to this will also decide to seek for professional help with his/her mental issues.
More musicians need to be like this Djent. Lack of business savvy has brought down so many musicians. Even Uli Roth said he learned the hard way that you need money to make music.
Loving these interviews, Frank! Thanks for the deep insights.
Frank your interviews are great. Keep up the good work.
Yeah these are very solid.
😊Nice
Church shirt hahah......
I miss Haunted Shores
Loved the shirt Misha
I can give some constructive criticism 😅 even for free 😂
For the drums I think that's what I don't like drumming patterns of Bulb. It's too much perfect to my taste I guess.
Periphery for not being original is comparing Ford to Benz and saying "Oh you're not original, Benz already invented combustion engine powered cars, Ford cars are just copies." Nope, originality comes from the idea of melodies, rhythms and a lot of ingredients 😅
Periphery is also beyond my expectations as well 😅 hope you can always go with the same spirit 🖖
Thank you very much for the interview Frank and thank you for all the answers Misha. Incredible 👌🖖
