I would never let my child be around them unsupervised again! Who knows what crazy idea they'll come up with next. Clearly they think they know better than you do on how to care for your child. That's dangerous
Yeah you can clearly tell some of the comments were from people who clearly don’t understand that with a baby traveling with infant Motrin or Tylenol is a normal thing to include in a diaper bag .
Thanks for your comment! It's true that sending meds is common, but in this case, the issue was the grandparents going against the parents' clear wishes.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! It's definitely a tough situation. I think OP hoped the in-laws would respect their clear boundaries, but things took a shocking turn. What would you have done differently in their shoes?
Story #1 now that's how you wrap up a Story Mr Ai

Blocking your exit, is constraint and kidnapping.. felonies
The bigger issue is that they didn't use the real meds.
it's normal to send meds in case a child gets sick while with their grandparents

Ikr! I don't have kids and I still know it's normal. They love their child so they thought ahead.

Op, kinda your fault. You knew what your inlaws were like, but you left your daughter with them anyway.

I HEAVILY disagree with this.
