⚠ The sale I ran when this video launched has been finished for a while (sorry)⚠ But, a LOT of you have messaged me, disappointed to have missed out. So... it's back, but 𝑳𝑰𝑴𝑰𝑻𝑬𝑫 to the 𝑭𝑰𝑹𝑺𝑻 25 people only. Use code "save80" at checkout bit.ly/AT-Textures . These textures are the result of 6 years of collecting and curating the very best textures from my travels around the world ✈︎🌎. No fillers, all 240 high-resolution files are super useable as photo overlays. There's grunge, cracks and marble, painterly, canvas, distressed, textured vignettes etc. etc. it's got a lot! Enjoy.
Please keep those details in your videos - for me they are what makes them so much more valuable than most. I just picked up the textures bundle after watching the last video and am very impressed and excited to get creative with them. 😎👍
You are great. I am old and failing, but you are my Luminar Neo guru. I appreciate that comments you made at the beginning of treasuring images of passing people and pets. My Mother is 95 and my Yorkie is 19 (that is about 120 human years). In my opinion, do not modify your content to what the average TH-cam watcher wants. If your average viewer is like me, we really want the down and dirty process of editing. I really appreciate the the in depth of your edits, describing to me, an idiot, how you work your magic.
Thanks Anthony! Awesome video. Please keep up with in depth videos. It's the level of detail I am seeking that makes it easier to learn overall and you're an excellent instructor!
I thoroughly enjoyed watching a full video and seeing everything that I’m not doing in Luminar Neo and knowing it’s at my fingertips. You did an amazing job! Thank you so much for posting this. I just got a new puppy and I can’t wait to try it.
I wonder why you did not use GenExpand to fill in the bottom of the image. Frankly, I found it to be very unreliable and dropped the subscription. Skylum still needs to revise the masking and improve the layers function as you recommend. Very good video
I'm really proud of the texture pack I've put together. Over 6 years of documenting high-quality textures from around the world and the addition of painterly textures, brush strokes, canvases etc. To run in conjunction with this and the previous texture video (th-cam.com/video/VQwslOxdBbo/w-d-xo.html) I'm running an 80% discount plus the textured vignettes for free. If you're interested you can check it out here: bit.ly/AT-Textures
Very inspirational. Thanks for the detailed demonstration of how you think through and implement your vision. My imagination is seriously lacking and need the step by step process. Going to watch your How to Add Textures video now and then buy your textile package and give it a try.
Since creating this video Luminar Neo has been updated and improved. You can get the newest version on sale here: bit.ly/NeoSale and maybe save more with coupon: ATNEO10 (sometimes Skylum de-activate the code if there's already a promotion running but worth giving a go!)
Yeah that would have been nice. I think I've always been wary of spot coloring ever since it was done to death in the early 2000's. But maybe it's time for a comeback! 😀
@@AnthonyTurnham True, it was overdone back then, but I still like it once in a while, and the focal point of the picture was the dog's eyes, which are very nice. But maybe I would have done a selected color pic and decided total b&w was the way to go. Ya never know! :)
I like the more in depth step by step video , if you have not got the attention span to watch and learn a 20/30 minute tutorial then you should not take up photography , for myself at the age of 60 I need step by step tutorials 😂
Goodday Anthony, Thankyou for your help. At 27 min 11 sec into the video, you displayed the picture framed in a setting. If you would not mind, could you direct me where to find this. It really accentuated the image. Have a blessed day. Regards, Jaco.
Is the Luminar Neo lifetime perpetual subscription worth it? I have enjoyed using my current version from last year but subscription is about to end. Currently they have a sale on it
Hi Rob, good question. You may have the two models on offer merged together. So it's either a perpetual license, or a rolling subscription. Personally I like to own my software so I'd go for the lifetime license. The benefit of a subscription is you get the generative AI tools (genErase, genSwap and GenExpand) during your subscription - none of which I really use but each person is different... you may feel they're a necessity for your workflow... Also going forward it seems that while as a lifetime user you get updates for free, Skylum seem to save a few bespoke features for the subscribers. But if you get a license upgrade now you'll be up to date at the time of purchase including all the new tools. Hope that helps.
I would have removed the spot highlights in the dog's eyes to give more impact ... as it is the eyes are the most important aspect of the photo and those eyes are just confusing because of the highlights
Fair enough. Personally I like the highlights as I feel it gives the eyes a sparkle. But sure, if they're not your cup of tea then they could be removed.

Ditto on the step-by-step, mistakes and all. Best way to learn. Thanks for sharing your talent with us.

Fantastic excellent video the more detail the better.
Please keep up the in depth longer videos, as I feel I'm learning so much from them.
The step by step is very helpful to me in understanding the process and nuances of Luminar. Thank you !
I love the details. Take all the time necessary and needed.
I prefer the full edit. Thank you so much!
Really useful and liked the full tutorial. I will now find my cat and take a picture to play with!!
I enjoy that you share all of the editing even if the video is long because I am just learning how to edit. Great video thanks for sharing
Keep up the good job. Perfect length 👍🏻
Thanks! 👍
Absolutely beautiful edit Anthony, very happy to spend the time watching it.
Marvellous. I agree with the length of the video. We need the details that are revealed in the art of photo editing. Great job.

Another great video again 👏🏻 Thank you for also being on the creative side, love it! Please stay with your longer in depth tutorials
Thanks Anthony! Awesome video. Please keep up with in depth videos. It's the level of detail I am seeking that makes it easier to learn overall and you're an excellent instructor!
Watched entire video, I appreciate getting the whole picture. lol. I had no idea that Luminar Neo was capable of this type of edit. Thank you so much.
Yes please, step by step helps understand the process much better. Thanks a lot.
I am a novice but loved the full editing as it helps me to much better understand what can be achieved (with a heap of patience!), thank you so much.
I thoroughly enjoyed watching a full video and seeing everything that I’m not doing in Luminar Neo and knowing it’s at my fingertips. You did an amazing job! Thank you so much for posting this. I just got a new puppy and I can’t wait to try it.
Glad it was helpful!
Anthony, outstanding video
Another great video Anthony.
I preferred the full edit as it helps me understand how to do it.
Look forward to the next.
a great step by step tutorial. Worthy of several viewings!

Cover all the details, please :) Great tutorial!
I personally like the full details even the mistakes as I learn more that way

Fantastic. Glad the tutorial/walk through of my edit has inspired you. Thanks for picking up the texture bundle 😃 happy creating!

Lots of cool tricks used in this edit! :) I think I would have left the eye color, but otherwise, love what you did. :)

I like to see the more in-depth videos
Another great video - I appreciate the details immensely. Many videos just go too fast and therefore are not as helpful👍

I'm also for the full editing steps
I think it is best to do the whole edit, mistakes and all, the only way to learn ... if someone thinks it is to long they can sweep ahead on their own
Prefer full tutorials - thanks

Totally lost after 10 mins in. I guess this technique is too advanced for me.
