Great review. Thank you. One question… I bought mine from B&Q. Their website states use 25:1 fuel:oil mix but on the device it states 40:1 mix. What mix did you use please and how crucial is it to get he mix right? Thanks again.
Hi Jenny, if memory serves me correctly, there are lugs around the outside of the spool that you stick the end of the line in before you start to wind. Then, the main thing is that you wind the line the opposite way to the rotation of the spool (I'm even sure that to do so you have to bend the line back over where you have stuck it) So the line is held onto the spool by centrifugal force. No video but I hope that helps 👍🏻😁
It is new and tried all directions as suggested, but thought if I sprayed it with WD 40 it would come off, but still didn't budge, then remembered the age old remedy of fixing mechanical problems, I hit the bottom with a hammer, and I was so glad when it started to turn and came off so now I can use the other attachments.
@@CloughReviews In manual it says about not starting engine without oil. Can't find any oil filler caps . Also says about gearbox oil. What's the score re that please??
Open from a cold start, but then almost immediately close it. It will actually probably stop on its own if you don't, then just close it and start again 👍🏻
I would have liked to see the size of your case, coming back from your recent trip. Another well informed review. Thank you. I use 80 volt electric here. All the villagers think it's magic. 🪄
Thanks for that Roger, nice to hear from you again. I'm trying to train my wife into packing less at the moment 😁🤣. Have you got an 80v cordless strimmer?
@Clough Reviews I brought Greenworks here. I liked the fact that I can use the batteries in various tools. I have the strimmer, which I think is very good. Not sure how it would deal with Brambles though.
This is probably the best review on these things I have ever seen on youtube. Thank you very much.
Thank you very much for that, I appreciate it 😁👍🏻
Excellent! Saved me so much time as the Buko manual was not very clear. Thankyou!
Just bought one because of your excellent review. Thank you for the great presentation and all the small tips.

Great, informative review! Thanks.

Can we change the strimmer head direction for edging the lawn?
No, but you can hold it at an angle to do edging.
Good review. Helped my buying choice, Cheers.

I always use a 40:1. Use d it on this and it works perfectly 👍🏻😁
@@CloughReviewsthank you sir. You are a star.
Thanks... Very Helpful !!
OK this is really random but... what brand is that Polo shirt? I want one and can't quite see the logo
Hahaha, Nautica 😁👍🏻
What fuel mix ratio did you use? I’ve seen ready mixed fuel by STIHL that is 50:1 ratio - can you use that for this machine?
I do it anywhere between 40:1 & 50:1 with no problems
Thanks. Having issues loading the strimmer wire. Any chance of a video on that please

Great Guide 😁
I can't get the nylon wire attachment off to change it for the blade, it's struck fast. I think I might have cross threaded it or something.
It's revers threaded if I'm not mistaken, try screwing it the other way
Reverse

Where do u buy the petrol from? Is it just from a petrol station pump that you would fill your car up with?
Yes but it’s a 2 stroke so you need to mix petrol with oil
Yep, cheapest petrol, no need for the one with all the additives. Make sure you have the mixing bottle and two stroke oil to add 😁👍🏻
