- The all new trailer for Kirby and the Forgotten Land gives a new glimpse into the new mysterious world you'll be exploring, and many new powers like Mouth Full Mode, giving Kirby the ability to inhale enormous objects like cars and… vending machines? Well I hope NOT because this has some horrifying implications, mainly that Kirby has no mercy on swallowing stuff humanity had left behind... and that humanity that Kirby presumably killed.
@@ExtremeWreck well yea sure. Also the whole concept is putting a cap on his consumption abilities. We’ve seen in the show and numerous games that inside Kirby is a hallow empty universe of the things he has consumed . So basically a half car Kirby is like either saying Kirby can’t swallow items too big or he can decide just how much of something he consumes which If that’s the case however then that’s fine.
People have been sleeping on this announcement. It looks as fun as odyssey! Cannot wait for this to come out!

I don't know maybe I'm crazy, but this seems like a great opportunity to bring back the squeak squad. A lot of the enemies seem to look a lot like mice and rats, so it'd be really cool if we can see them again

You can see here 1:32 that Kirby only leaves out the wheel so that it can move. That's a lot smaller than the car but he still leaves out the bottom. He could probably swallow the car whole if he needs to.
They even said, "enjoy his new moves different from Copy Abilities". So, it's basically a power to borrow objects instead of fully inhaling it and turning it into a star.
Edit: He actually inhaled it whole 0:31 in fact
its not the size that matters ;) because kirby is elastic in the show they point out its only the weight that determines whether he can absorb an object or not

Remember last time when I said that the new Kirby game didn't look anything different and that it should have the ability where you can become a car to make it feel unique
Yeah I was just joking about that, I had no idea that they were going to do something like this.
But now that they did I'm really liking the direction that they're going for.
Plus they are really hitting the ballpark with these trailers, really with release after release the gameplay just gets better and better
Now all that's left to do is have a DLC that includes a Marx expansion with a new location, boss fights, and abilities and we can just call it the best Kirby game

The more and more I see this game, the excited I get. The Mouthful mode is quite literally a more updated version of the captures from Odyssey and it looks great.
The level design and presentation looks gorgeous here too! March 25th cannot come soon enough

I don’t know why, but Mouthful Mode feels satisfying when Kirby’s inhaling those objects.
My theory is that the beast pack needs to do something with King Dedede and all the waddle dees. That’s the reason they’re kidnapping all the waddle dees, and why wouldn’t they go after their leader too? It looks they they possibly captured and corrupted Dedede. I wonder what they’ll need to do with him and the waddles but if that’s the case, I won’t rest until they’re all saved!

This game looks really cute, and the graphics are pretty impressive for the Switch. If this has the same level of polish as another graphically intensive game like Luigi’s Mansion 3, I have high hopes. 🙂 Haven’t played a Kirby game since Epic Yarn, but I’d love to see some of that charm in a new title.

@hilario flores Definitely, I think Nintendo’s always taken a back-seat on graphics, but it’s cool to see some games really shine for their systems, and I felt like Luigi’s Mansion 3 was one of them, both graphically and also mechanically really fun to play. Fingers crossed for this one to receive a similar level of polish.

yo this new game just introduces a whole new set of copy abilities
and this is a list of all the concepts that sakurai must've come up with
1. ultra copy abilities from return to dream land
2. supernova with the ability to create boulders out of your enemies
3. mechanized copy abilities from planet robobot
and finally 4. mouthful mode and upgraded/evolved abilities from this new kirby game
sakurai must've been coming up with new concepts and copy abilities for nintendo and i bet he's gonna make millions out of this new game

Upgrading abilities sounds like such an amazing idea and building a waddle dee city is really creative although I still miss playing as everyone in star allies that was really fun
I just really want a Kirby game that lets you combine abilities again like the Crystal Shards on N64 did. Finding out what each combination was was one of the coolest things I'd ever seen as a kid.

I was expecting a 3d open world Kirby game. But, this is still really cool. Hopefully, the levels will be less linear and encourage you to explore.
Someday in the future for this kirby franchise , he would get an open world game.

@@jordite9860 but the trailer hints that the game structure will be laid upon Odyssey's core. Come on, haven't you realized the many many clues that this Forgotten Land is Odyssey's? The design style is the same, the car behaves the same as the motorcycle, the pillars falling looked like New Donk's beams, and so on... I wanted an Odyssey dlc but this trailer looks so good that i think this game will do it

Evolving copy abilities is a fun idea. I just hope that there are split paths almosts, like you can upgrade abliity A to ability B or C, but you are locked in and cant go from B to C. That would be fun.
