or better yet your enemy picks your character for you which will make it easier to manage and people will probably pick the character they are most comfortable fighting against

Something I found out when playing on these stages, specifically portalfield, with a friend: portals use port priority. This gives player one a huge advantage on portalfield, because you can lock the other player in the hole until they are a high enough percentage to die. It doesn't really matter on the other stages though.

The idea of a Warioware tournament with teams of two competing to see who can last the longest sounds like a great idea; it would be very hard to find a platform on which to host this event and to find competitors, however, it would be cool

Really love the idea of making a competitive scene that bases the game around problem-solving as much as pure technical skill. Side tournaments with changing rulesets and stages are a great way to keep things fresh

This is actually pretty great idea for future side events if not full tournaments if you can get more stages, (minus insta kill ones) like a pit icarus stage that’s actualy legal and portals would also be nice.
You know how the plot of the Wario Land games is him unintentionally doing good things while trying to gain riches for himself?
Imagine a game with a similar plot but it’s Alpharad just out to make content but unintentionally saves the world while doing so.
