That semipro third shot was the hardest and he saved it Edit: I watched it in 0.12x speed and can confirm he did change its direction considerably, although it probably wasn’t going in it would have at least hit hit the crossbar perhaps giving a secondary chance to shoot and score. Additionally, had it been on target, slightly lower, he would have had ample opportunity to save it with this jump/dive and would have made an excellent save
@@Twi_543 Maybe the semipro had the hardest one but amateur had, without a doubt, the hardest trio of shots, and his performance was up to the challenge.
@@itsboltgamingTo be fair they were saying “yea” to signal when to turn and he went when the dude said it. The shooter just took a while to actually send it. Not the goalies fault.

@@lukeforbes2008 aye, I hear that. I did some gk training and I used to cringe when they did it. Most of the time, it just makes it more difficult to save!
I mean, in a real game, the closer you are to the ball the smaller the open areas of the goal is behind you, so in a way he’s just playing smart and using experience to his advantage. Not sure if they set strict rules for this drill or not though so 🤷♂️

I think, it was a difference in experience. Especially where the semi pro decided to stand, knowing that he can cover more spaces if he stood closer to the shooter
Some people don’t pay attention, the shots are equal distance and so it was. Close shot, close shot, far shot everyone had the equal distance just different people kicking. For a fair test I’d suggest doing it at a mid range and using something to hit the ball at the right velocity or just use another person that kicks for everyone.
Would like to see these keepers make it a bit more realistic and try catch any given ball, for example the third and ninth shot even though hard were catchable shots, so instead of them just focusing on the saves it would also be good for them to focus on keeping the ball just so they don’t end up redistributing it to the opposition in a real game, would also be awesome to do some simulation events, for example have 4 players in-front of the keeper 2 on his side acting as his defenders and 2 against him acting as attackers, just be good to see how they handle different situations when the ball comes in differently each time and how they handle it with players in the box
Influencer does not emply any kind of extra skill in soccer. This is just amateur, semi pro, amateur, hence why the first and last were equal, it was just two underqualified dudes both times.

May I suggest to add something to partially block the keepers view ? It will give it a bit more of a realistic challenge.

the amateur is throwing the ball homie, i don’t think it was on purpose 🤡
