Its actually quite fun to be driving on Khambatki ghat section but the tunnel will make it much easier
Fun for cars and bikes, but the way these vehicles cut-off the trucks and buses, they make them lose the momentum and cause lot of issues for the poor drivers of the heavy vehicles

Typical case of road construction delays in maharashtra. All of these problems occur because there are no penalties, builders have tied up with politicians and there is a lot of hooligansism prevalent

Toll collection has not stopped… the road construction has been started two years ago and traffic has been moved on worst service roads full of path-holes and speed breakers… I don’t understand why they are collecting toll for the road which is under construction.. daily vehicle count on this route is around 1 lakhs… and toll collection in 4 toll plazas is around 3-4 thousand CR which they have already collected.

Make a Video of Tawandi Ghat (Pune-Banglore highway). Its a biggest project between Kolhapur - Belgaum cities.
You can also try to cover Railway projects like Kalyan yard remodelling or 3rd/4th line between Kalyan - Karjat/Kasara if the work is initiated.

Wouldn't the tunnel fill with water? It's below surrounding level on Satara side opening.
The cost of road projects are very high in general. It is better to construct rail lines. They require less land width. The earth surface remains pervious to obsorb rain water. The area near western Ghats receive heavy rain. Improve existing highways.

It will take 2 more years to complete. By that time Congress will come to power and then inaugurate the road. Looking forward to that 🙂

3 month is not enough time to check progress for these mega projects also its monsoon time, may be you can make it 6 month duration to cover progress.

I have travelled on Mumbai Goa highway the PQC section feels uncomfortable to ride and lots of noises from road where as bitumin state highways gave better ride quality and they dont get affetced by rain also

Infra work will be even slower in Modi 3.0, especially in Maharashtra. Pune Kolhapur highway will take another 3-4 years to be completed. Soon these projects will face budget cuts due political vendetta. I think Pune-Sangli-Bengaluru expressway would start operations in some phases before NH-48 is completed. This is what the people of Maharashtra voted for in Lok Sabha elections and would repeat this decision in Vidhan Sabha Elections soon.

00:50 I was travelling from this road last month very bad quality bitumen road i have ever seen. Earlier it was better
I think there should be 6 months gap in revisiting the project unless its in finishing stage. Otherwise we may face similar kind of disappointments which is unfair considering terrain difficulties and our Babus mood swings.
And then impatient viewers starts moaning about why project delays in Maharashtra.
