Coconut or Bounty is a term used by colored people who are westernized/raised in Western societies. Brown outside and white inside. So Aparna is the other way around. I am surprised Maam didnt catch that 😇
It might not be that she doesn't know about it. It's her way of asking the guest to explain the story behind that name for us viewers to understand. She used that question as a tool for aparna herself to tell us the story.
Need more of vernacular than English in our speak. Being a non malayali I could understand most of it because of English, in the interview, notwithstanding it. 😒
