Yes I have the same problem after reprogramming one of them it keeps on receiving basically the squash is off even though the software is telling me it is on looks like it's a hardware defect everything would be a way of resetting having a reset button on those this could potentially be helpful so far I've seen the disassembly of these there doesn't seem to be any reset not that I have seen so far
You connect baofeng bf 888s to pc with date cable, open program CHIRP on desktop, reset Radiostation baofeng. Change setting,other freq. When is finish,disconnect 888s to pc, all is good. Good work. Succesfull.
Looks like one of the have to adjust squelch via software and check how ctcss/dcs is to make sure they are simular also. if one radio is on pmr446 and the other is on something else on chanal 1 it would look like this also.
The radios have had a major software effect stopping the transit from happening 1/2 years ago same thing happened to mine and wasn’t fixable I tried different tricks etc etc and no hope to try fix them but it will work once software in the radios have been recovered and fixed again try taking it to a repair shop for radios etc and ask them to have a look but I think they will probs say it’s software issue with the radios as mine had the same thing but wouldn’t transmit at all only show green light but I couldn’t fix mine also I’d had it since 2012/2019 so a fair few years old but hope this helps cheers
