      You're welcome. Start with 2-3 sets per hand at 30-45 secs per set. You want to get a baseline on the movement and how your body reacts. If all signs are good and you feel like you can bump up the weight or set length, give that a shot.

      He can. But it's not important if he can or not. What's important is, does he make his players better?

    Is there a replacement for plates if you don't have them? I thought about using bricks, but do you have alternatives?

    Hey Coach, could you do a video on improving your hangtime

    • @DeepGameBasketball
      @DeepGameBasketball  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The closest training we have is how to increase your vertical (which is essentially the same thing as hang time).

  • @KingJonnyJohn

    but why do we need strong hands for basketball? i can understand needing quick hands but why strong?

    • @DeepGameBasketball
      @DeepGameBasketball  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For example, you're driving down the lane and defenders are making plays on the ball (trying to knock the ball loose), you'll need good hand strength in order to maintain possession. It will also help you get more and ones.
      See what I mean?
