The best display of improv in this show. There's a real sense of back and forth between Sleet and Vicky. I'm ashamed that I dismissed this episode because she was from a crappy reality television show I didn't like but I'm glad I gave it a second chance because she's one of the best guests they had.
I'm not brit and had no idea who she is, was so amazed at her improv and chilled vibe I looked her up and was surprised shes just in reality tv ****. she could be an amazing actress.
One episode... Others are just sad with extras trying to be real famous names and over acting to fuck and back... Painful when the American copy of a Brit show is much better than the original
I remember watching this at the time. I had no idea who Vicky was but it was clear she had a great sense of humour and was impressed how much she invested in the premise.
when i watched the american version, i thought it was a shame that the entertainment of each episode was dependent on the guest star but after watching the original, i realize thats not the case. hats off to tom davis, every episode ive seen so far has been brilliant!
I watched the American version on Netflix and it’s nowhere as good as the British. Tom Davis makes the show, whereas Will Arnett is just a name-actor hosting a 30 minute improv comedy.
I’m American and don’t know most of the guest stars or some of the non-American celebs they impersonate, but it literally doesn’t matter because the show’s actors are amazing and the guests are really funny and good sports. So far though Vicky Pattison is my favorite! Even without the cultural knowledge, I love the British version more because they are really committed to the improv and go so much farther for the laugh than the American version! 🤣🤣🤣 As a murder mystery fan I love that this show exists! 😍😍😍
Tom commented that Vicky 100% made this episode what it was. She is AMAZING. 100000000000% better than the US version but come on, we always had it in the bag when Tom is involved.
i think between paul whitesouse and vicky. tom was so unprepared for what level this episode was gonna be on. i was weezing on the h for halitosis scene
I liked Rookie Pattison. She had a lot of fun and great Geordie accent she put on 😉 She spent the time giggling and messing about and she still got the right murderer.
If the producers of Murderville (the US adaptation) don't give the writers more creative freedom and more flexibility for the formula in the second season, they really need to watch this episode and there MUST be a British comedian on-scene to EXPLAIN to them why it works in the original!
" Where the fuck were you drinking, a monastery? " Was my favorite line! 😂
"Well he's nowt like your barber then is he son?" Probably the best off the cuff line in the series

I came here to write this exact comment, but you beat me to it! Spot-on mate. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I was the same was surprised thought she was great one of my faves
Seriously shocked at how good this show is, and how criminallly underrated. She was so brilliant and natural.
I only found this after finding out about the new amerian version run by Will Arnett. But this is brilliant.
@@zombi3907 - I managed about 2 mins of that American one.
She’s my favorite guest, I would love to see a full season of these two
Lanky glass of milk

the monastery line is by far the best thing in the entire series 😂
What did it mean? forgive me.
Love the moment they break over the monestry comment
I watched that scene 5 times in a row, just brilliant. Makes me happy.
Chief Ramsey's impression blows me away every episode - its a fantastic job by the actor there. Paul Whitehose in this episode was great as well
I love Vicky's willingness to completely throw her into the insanity of the show.
Vicky is exceptional content
I love this show

This is an amazing show
*I've never seen her before, but she is a natural.*
Wasn't sure how Vicky would be, but wow - she is amazing at improv!

I'm from England and I can still sometimes find it hard to understand her accent. How the hell do you manage it as an American haha
@@dannydorko7075 subtitles help! 🤣🤣🤣
@@lk_c7214 ahhhhh 😂
Yeah I am a USA-er myself and only learned of this show because of Netflix's Murderville which is obviously based on this show.
By far the best episode of the whole series. So damn funny, top to bottom.
Vicki was incredible in this one! The barber quip--c'mon!
I don't know who Vicky is, but she was so delightful in this episode! So sharp and funny!
This show is brilliant! Vicky is an amazing improv actress
This is the best episode so far! :D
I’ve rewatched this ep more times than i can remember now. It’s so good. The improv in this is just so good.

That Lorraine Kelly impersonation is outstanding
Paul Whitehouse is amazing in this also. H for halitosis 😂
This was such a great show.
26:37
One of the greatest one liners before the kill in entertainment history.
Wonderful episode, well played.
Well underrated pure genius !
They could easily make 10 seasons of this
This is the best one yet
i think between paul whitesouse and vicky. tom was so unprepared for what level this episode was gonna be on. i was weezing on the h for halitosis scene
P: You look like a superhero, Sleet!
S: Yeah, well I am.
Till the end of 3rd season I didn't know how honest he was talking to Pattison
5:53 died
Couldn't have scripted it any better
When Tom loses his composure, you know its good
"Hey, what's on those pizzas, deceit and pineapple?"
I liked Rookie Pattison. She had a lot of fun and great Geordie accent she put on 😉
She spent the time giggling and messing about and she still got the right murderer.
Bring it back
She’s fantastic
Good to see that Lowecroft got better from being a real pervert and rejoined the force.
Bring back hanging! what a line haha
Thanks for uploading these. Shame there's no s01e01 with Jamie Laing, that's my favourite.
There is
it's blocked in the uk because of copyright

Well I have a new crush. Love this chick
Surprise Paul Whitehouse!!!
I believe Netlfix will adapt this episode in season 2. Senior detective got framed for murder

The only show in history that the American copy is a million times better than the very shit British original
