Tony Shaloub and Monk were a match made in Heaven. One of the best shows ever. Whenever I see an episode, or even a clip, I still laugh at Monk's antics.
I know what you're saying, but I think that's not fair to Tony. He's an excellent actor, and that's why it seems like that. But really, Tony Shaloub is a perfect match to all of his characters, because he's such amazing actor.

What I love about Monk was despise his quirks and peculiar behaivor he was always so smart and figured out the most difficult crimes. I know this just a tv show but he is such a unique character.

Nah I like Natalie more. She would give things up for Monk. She left a date once without monk having to call saying “my boss needs me” and her date said “how do you know?” And Natalie said “because he always needs me”. Whereas Sherona will tell him no, peace. Maybe cause I’m a bit of a people pleaser like Natalie but I relate to her character and I really appreciate her growth throughout the show. ❤ She started out being that way cause of her people pleasing personality.

I have a question to all English native speakers: Is it really effortlessely easy for you to hear and understand what they say? Cause to me the actors are so mumbling that its very hard for me to understand them. And my english is okay. In the german dubbing the german voice actors spell every word, every syllable so clear and clean. So how is it for you? Im so excited to read what you say :)
I'm an American. I have no problems understanding them. That's just how we talk. I hear news anchors are easier to understand because they're very clear and intentionally with their pronunciation. I'm curious, do you have this problem in all American shows or just this one?
Spoiler alerts and also it’s been a little while since I’ve seen this episode but I remember a good bit of it so anyway: That jerk they were talking to in the penthouse killed his wife (I don’t remember what his given motive was but I’m guessing it’s bc he’s rich and felt like he could do anything he wanted) and then had to make it look like an accident, so he hired a look-alike to pretend to be his wife, had her be the one wearing the scarf, getting seen by 10+ people, then the look-alike got the scarf caught as she went back in the elevator alone. I believe the look alike then pulled herself up into the maintenance hatch on top of the elevator where the body of the guy’s wife was, she wrapped the scarf around the dead body’s neck and she pressed the fingerprint reader with the dead body’s thumb upside down. Then the lookalike climbed back up into the maintenance hatch, hidden. So when the panicked onlookers were finally able to see inside the elevator, it looked like the jerk’s wife had died due to the scarf choking her. Monk experienced being choked by a scarf in this clip and he remembered that the man’s wife had allegedly been screaming and calling out for help, which he realised she couldn’t possibly had been doing. That combined with the upside down finger print and some other things I can’t remember helped him solve the case
monk is a great show but these are a bunch of completely random clips just slapped together they dont even go witht the title, half of the clips arent even him solving anything like wtf did i just watch was this made by a 5 year old?
He has severe anxiety that’s where it comes from. His mother was like that she was very strict etc. if you watched the show you would adore him, with little empathy you would love the show. It is a healing show.
