Fifty years ago we got a flat tire on the interstate, sick sister in the back seat and while her bf had a spare tire he didn't have the handle for the jack. I can't remember his excuse but the best we could do is hope a Statie would pass by and be able to help us or someone would stop. Within a few mins a car pulled in. It was a man and woman in their late 20's. The man asked if he could help. We told him what we needed. He said I'm not driving my usual car but let me check my trunk. Ended up the only thing is his trunk was the handle we needed. I'd like to think that was Elijah. I truly enjoyed this lesson. Thank you Rabbi Skobac

Love this story; thanks for sharing. I had a breakdown on an interstate at night as a teen girl. It ended up fine in the end with a car of saviors pulling over just in time, but I still have anxiety over it sometimes. I’m going to remember your story & this video to change the narrative in my mind from terrible to remember that God is with us regardless of how others behave.

Towards the end of my Mother's life, she was very ill, and had in home hospice. She told me a similar story to the woman's at the end, of being assisted immediately when she was falling without any warning. She said she was in her room attempting to walk towards her walker, and lost her balance. There wasn't a chair or anything near, and all of a sudden she felt herself being pulled up before she could fall. Such a surreal moment. B'H❤

My wedding had been cancelled I was recuperating In Cal .There I was the only one on the beach in winter with my siddur prayer book I left it on a rock then the tide came out and took it while I walked I came back and it was gone! I ascended a clip there in La Jolla and screamed to the heavens I MUST have my siddur!. When I came down I saw a figure yonder heading towards me in a straight b line He said very solemnly " is this yours?" I said yes and then he handed it to me and walked slowly into the distance. I never knew what hit me except that Hashem sent eliyahu and answered my prayer right there. Thank you Eliyahu

I will venture to state that prophecy may also be acquired during times of stress and affliction, but as I recall, Rabbinic Judaism teaches that the days of prophecy already ended. A prophet is in tune with life as it is and has a more clear perception of reality. That sequence of letters, 'hineh', says a lot. I think that religions can be a hindrance to true prophecy, a hindrance to that more clear perception of reality that is the result of a truly dynamic relationship with Hashem, haQ'dosh Yisrael. To he honest, I'll have you know that I arrived at a "worldview" that is more akin to that of the Sadducees (צדוקים), so, as I recall, you will consider me to be an Epicurean who has no place in your world to come. Even so, I wish you success and true prosperity.

With everything that is going on in the world right now, we really needed this teaching. I have been praying for Eliyahu's revelation of Moshiach for years. For Moshiac to appear, Elijyahu must be first on the scene. This was such a important and timely teaching. I believe the footsteps are happening and they're just right outside in the foyer. They are knocking. We must return to Hashem of our fathers. To return to the original and only covenant. To observe the Sabbath and all the mitzvahs. And not live in a degenerant lifestyle and stand for the truth. Turning our hearts back to Torah is what it means. No more homosexuality and any other alternate lifestyles. Because that's not life. One thing that I don't agree with Benjamin Netanyahu in supporting homosexual lifestyle and keep springing it up and all of his speeches. Stand up for the truth and what is wrong and say it. Then you will see Eliyahu and Mosheic!

Malachi says HaShem might smite the earth with a curse, the last verse in our Bible, but the Messiah brings only peace, so why the empty threat?

I like your question. It leads me to the following answer: G-d wants us, mankind, the crown of Creation, to have the capacity to earn prosperity. By preserving freedom of choice, He offers us that capacity. So, yes, the the messianiac age will bring peace, but it won't be "bread of shame," but by us being challenged to choose that peace, we gain so much more. That's why there is a threat.

Elijah is expected to announce Mashiach, but how we will recognise Elijah as he does so? I could tell a story about an elderly black man in South Africa, but who would believe it, even if there were witnesses?

Oooh... A new RABBI Michael Skobac lesson !!!! Xhristians try to lie and say that John The Baptizer WAS Elijah in order to hock their JC lie. 💔 So when they "celebrate" Jewish Holidays as Cosplay, they MISS the Deep Meaning of Judaism itself.💡

John the Baptist admits in his own Gospel in the New Testament that he is not Eliyahu. This proves the Jesus Messiah Hoax on its own not to mention the countless other issues.
