Ren is the real deal. I'm such a fan of The Big Push. There's nothing he can't accomplish. And he seems to be a very humble guy. I think he's this generations Prince and Stevie Wonder.
The only thru-line between the musicians I follow closely is their incredible musicality and FRESHNESS. They never do a verse or a chorus the same twice, they always surprise, they always bring more to the performance than I could have imagined. Ren is the latest in that chain, and I am OBSESSED. He's a stunning performer, and an artist to the bone.

One thing that's really struck me is that so many artists, musical or otherwise, are talking about Ren inspiring them to "up their game," ask questions about their own work.
