    I have slim and narrow feet. Website says go down a full size down . I’m a US 10.5. Jordan 1. Yeezy! Allat. Thought they’d fit like an AF1 or a designer shoe. Decided to go with the 9.5. Waaaaayyy to tight. Gave them away. Ordered another pair in a US 10. PERFECT FIT ! I’m now the owner of 4 pairs of loafers from Blackstock and Weber and couldn’t be happier with my purchases. Literally one of the best pair of loafers I own and I have a few different brands. If these are a bit out of your price range, I’d suggest the Dr. Marten loafer. Cherry red are my faves. Can’t go wrong with the black pair as well.

    Yo! Just received my own loafers! SIZING ADVICE: I'm a 9.5D on a Brannock Device.(slightly wide feet) I wear a Men's Size 9.5D in Vans, New Balances,(in both lifestyle and running shoes) and Reebok Club C 85's. I wear a size 9 for both Nike Air Force 1's and Thursday Boots. I tried on some Chuck Taylors at my Famous Footwear, and I'm an 8.5 in those. I sized an 8.5 in these and they fit almost perfectly. Definitely go down a FULL size down from your usual sneaker size/Brannock size. IF YOU HAVE WIDE FEET, the general consensus is to go down ONLY HALF a size. Don't even try to ask me about sizing for narrow feet, because I don't know.
    I love these loafers! The only(and I mean only, literally no other problems) problem is that the heel is too wide, causing some slippage. But leather shoes usually conform to your feet after breaking them in, so I'm expecting the heel slip to go away after I break these babies in.
    Lastly, I am NOT a believer in buying loafers which are too small in the hopes of stretching them out. The leather is pretty soft, but not THAT soft.

    Great info. We all have been there (trial and error). Sometimes you can’t exchange for whatever reason. Sharing your own experience is definitely taking 1 for the team. 👍

    I picked up the Kith colab in tan last year and love them! I have a mid wide (EE) foot and usually buy 11.5 or 12 depending on the brand. I got these in 10.5 because 11s sold out quick, but they work. I used a stretcher to give a bit of room for the widest part of my right foot but that’s generally what I do because I have a wide toe box with a narrow heal.
    I get so many complements on these shoes and they are made incredibly well. I’m thinking of grabbing a second pair but will go with an 11 this time and the chunky rubber soul. I don’t think the rubber souls will stretch and conform like the leather does.
    Fingers crossed!

    So glad you made this video. I’m going to do review this weekend as well. Literally had the same issue and it’s so annoying. I’m not sure who the issues actually fit
    The worst part about it is you can’t try them on anywhere and they only allow you to do exchanges or in-store credit. So once I realize that neither size of the two sizes I typically wear would fit me I couldn’t even get my money back and look for a different brand that’s gonna fit me better so I’m stuck with these $400 loafers that don’t fit

      Yeah I won't be grabbing another pair as much as I like the silhouette just because of that shoddy sizing and return policy. I'm admittedly a Grant Stone shill and can say theirs are a better deal that fit way better

    Thanks for the video man, im looking at these exact shoes. Bummer about the sizing and duties but i'm glad youre able to still make the work. This video was very helpful and you have a calm camera presence. One slight suggestion though, it's very difficult to see the white text on the screen. It's important info and maybe a black font or positioning it against a dark backdrop would be much better. Otherwise, great video.

      Thanks for the feedback! I upped the size and colour for better contrast in my recent video as that was totally unreadable sometimes.

    @brendan Thanks for the review, really great video! I was thinking of getting a pair of these but have a had a similar issue in the past of dress shoes pushing up against my ankle bone. Do you have any recommendations for other lug sole loafers that you don't have that problem with?

    • @heybrendan
      @heybrendan  หลายเดือนก่อน

      i actually sold these because I couldn't handle it. meermin or carmina might have options with a lug sole, otherwise i'd find a solid pair that fits well and try to resole them with the lug

    How is the comfort of the B&Ws compared to your paraboots (reims?)? I've been considering either these or paraboots reims - prefer the look of b&w, but it seems like a good chunk of people have issues with its fit/stiffness.

    • @heybrendan
      @heybrendan  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      can't really remember much because i sold both but sole comfort is generally the same. the uppers of the B&Ws destroyed my feet but it might be a size/last problem. definitely try in-store or a place with free returns if you can

    You said you also have some stuff from Grant Stone, debating between them and BS & W for loafers.
    I know GS doesn’t have any of the more unique makeups, but what are your thoughts between the two for a more basic loafer?

    • @heybrendan
      @heybrendan  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      GS has a more predictable fit and classic loafer style, but mine are really tight at the instep

    • @heybrendan
      @heybrendan  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      tbh idk I sold mine because they were too big. I think a 7D would be right for me from them. Here's my sizes you (or anyone else can can reference that I hope helps you out! Chuck 70s: 7.5, Dr Martens/Solovair: 8, Vans Vault: 8, Alden: 7.5. Viberg: 7.5E. Clarks Wallabees: 8. New Balance 2002r: 8.5

    It so hard buying shoes online. Like you said info is scattered because everyone has different size feet.

    For how chunky these are, can you style these with skinny or slim pants?

    • @heybrendan
      @heybrendan  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've seen others pull it off with a slimmer, or even skinny pant, but personally it's not my style.

    I have a pair of these, but the wooden sole is so uncomfortable. I love the way they look but the sole is so hard on my feet. Any tips to help?

    • @heybrendan
      @heybrendan  ปีที่แล้ว

      It's a leather sole and needs to be broken in, unlike foam in a sneaker. If the size is right, then you'll just have to keep wearing them for a bit and they'll conform to your foot.

    Same issue with the slippage and ankle bone rubbing. A 7 is too small and a 7 ½ is too big (slippage) sucks that I need something right in the middle like 7 ⅓.

    • @heybrendan
      @heybrendan  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I wish they'd make even one slightly modified last to accommodate this issue because it seems like a lot of people have it

    • @kevincai5695

      How big of a difference did the half size make (length vs. width)? I just got a pair in sz 8 and it's a little too big and I'm on the fence for exchanging them for 7.5

    • @heybrendan
      @heybrendan  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kevincai5695 I can't comment on the difference between sizes, but it seems like you have the same issue I had. Tongue pads should work to make the fit better if you don't want to exchange (i'm selling mine so I can get a pair that actually fits)
