I still look back to this day and think about how lucky I was that I hit that guy's truck. I think more ppl now days need to see a person who's obviously new and get out your truck and help that person instead of picking up the phone filming. Your new driver and you can't back that's not a problem anytime you're sitting around with time on your hands you throw a couple traffic cones out and you practice practice if you got a co-driver you can like call out dock numbers to them hit the stock hit this stock and see how long it takes you to go through like 10 docks . Youmake a game out of it be amazed how good you get it backing it just takes a little practice I like to practice with nobody watching me because even with cones I kind of suck but I amazed myself practice bro you'll get good at it I guarantee it. I forgot to mention you do it away from everybody find a closed industrial building with a dock area and practice there find a big dirt lot across the street from a truck stop and practice there.
I can agree with that however I think it’s kinda difficult to find the space to do what you’re saying at a truck stop … I do agree with you.. I think that being a local driver

@BJAM0608 u just saved me! I just lost a local position because I'm rusty for $1750 weekly. All because I didn't walk it back in there and was doubting myself. The tester was extremely on bs. So my confidence was shot. Thanks again.
Where to start turning the wheel to the right where should the tires be ? Do they need to be on line with the next truck to the spot we gonna back ? And when do i stop turning the wheel to right and do it to the left to straighten up truck
Also would be better if we park all the way back to the curb to make it easier for the guy who would park on our right side so he doesn't hit the right mirror
Step 1, find a double spot lol. I’m convinced all the people that record others having a hard time in a single spot got themselves a double/triple wide spot 😂

There is a place here in Chatt that requires the driver to practically Jack knife their rig to get a 53’ trailer in the dock.
😂😂Great information and funny too.. Thanks
Thx u great job I learned alot from u super simple
You are 100% welcome :)
Thanks for watching
I love the way you say “sh!t” 😂😂😂
Lol .. Thank you
I'm new to trucking and with swift( I know worst company to go with) and I will admit I tapped into some bricks at the shippers location but I'm doing everything exactly what you're saying and I appreciate you taking some time into making a video like this
You’re very welcome and I appreciate you watching:)
Nothing wrong with Swift .. it’s better than CRST I can tell you 🤷🏾♂️
Yes that's how I used to do it when I used to drive a big rigs
A beautiful park
Good job Brother!!!
Mane im tripping😂😂 i know you was sick of people hitting your truck i can hear it in your voice mane im in school now but love the video brother I'll make sure not to hit nobodys sh@$ 😂😂
Dude you have no idea lol ! The first time it got hit was before my first payment… The second time was a little while later
So to me it made sense to make a video on getting out of the driver seat and looking to make sure you are clear before backing into a spot
Thanks for watching
I love LOVEs truck stops that have more than at least 90 parking spaces although I need one space 🤞
1:45 please be careful and use 3 points of contact entering and exiting. great video
I usually live by thought process safety 3rd lol
Thanks for watching
Most truck stops are closed these are travel centers for everyone. Most drivers beep when backing.
What I want to see is you park between two tractor trailers
This is why I like rest areas. Plus it forces me to eat not shit truck stop food lol.
Ok, i saw the hard right then left. My question is did it matter when u started doing the right turn? I thought u line up the spot u want with your shoulder then hard turn right. Im new.
It’s more of a timing and feel thing ! I’d say once you see your trailer going the way you want it start to turn the wheel to get the tractor back underneath the trailer and just walk it in there
I’ll make another video showing how to do it again soon
Thanks for watching and I hope I was able to help you out
@BJAM0608 u just saved me! I just lost a local position because I'm rusty for $1750 weekly. All because I didn't walk it back in there and was doubting myself. The tester was extremely on bs. So my confidence was shot. Thanks again.
Great job driver!
I always go fuel up at this truck stop before going to the yard
I’ll get you a coffee next time I’m there if I see ya
Thanks for watching :)
HI YOU MAKE IT SEEM SO EASY I DID MY TEST I HAVE TO ENROLL TO SCHOOL IM EXCITED 😊 GOOD JOB
Thanks for watching and good luck with school :)
Always GOAL!!!! GET OUT AND LOOK,
Do that at night between two tractor trailers.......no one is perfect
I’ll make a video of that when I go back to work
Thanks for watching :)
Nice job driver!
Take a pitcher. Sir on your phone great 👍
Truck stop parking is fun, can be interesting to say the least
Where to start turning the wheel to the right where should the tires be ? Do they need to be on line with the next truck to the spot we gonna back ? And when do i stop turning the wheel to right and do it to the left to straighten up truck
this should be a priority in cdl school
You’d think so however it isn’t ! In truck driving school the priority is the dang PRE-trip inspection
Thanks for watching
I wanna master that skill.
Also would be better if we park all the way back to the curb to make it easier for the guy who would park on our right side so he doesn't hit the right mirror
You’re absolutely right !!
Step 1, find a double spot lol. I’m convinced all the people that record others having a hard time in a single spot got themselves a double/triple wide spot 😂
I’ve noticed that as well ! Thanks for watching
Ama fast learner, ready to sign up
Looks at those gas prices back then!!! Here we are in August 1 year later, and CA is at $6+ lol
I haven’t been to California in almost 2yrs lol !! One of the main reasons is cheap freight rates and high fuel prices !!! At some point the fuel prices will come down but I don’t think they’ll ever get back to the pre Covid prices ;(
Thanks for watching and I hope you stick around in my small community :)
Ty I been having a bit of a rough moment
Whys that ? What has been your issue ? Maybe I can help you out via video :)
Thanks for watching
Easy to do when that’s an open space next to you, I think the accidents occur when people try to park in between 2 trucks.
When I made this video I was quite irritated because my truck had gotten hit twice before I even made a payment !! So I decided to make a video to inform people it’s ok to get out and look to make sure you’re not bumping into other people’s equipment..: Thanks for watching and I hope you stick around for my content :)
Thank you 🙏 for sharing
