福井県の三方五湖 を自転車で廻る ＜殆どの周遊道を撮影＞ The MIKATA Five Lakes in Fukui Pref. in Japan 2024. 09. 06

友人の勧めに従って、三方五湖サイクリングを楽しんだ。　若狭湾に通じる久々子湖や日向湖には、漁村が広がり、釣り堀があり、地域の人々の生活の場となり、風情がある。必見のエリアと言える。　残念なのは自転車で満足できる走行距離は期待できず、南側の水月湖や三方湖などを廻っても直ぐに終えてしまう。　合計で40 km にも満たない。　他方、数キロの道路端を除き自転車道がほぼ完全に整備されている。　近くに美浜原発からのサポートがあったのだろうか、JR や地域の衰退とは対象的な豪華な施設などが設置されている。　行方久兵衛の碑を始め歴史的な遺物が多い。西に連なる峰は『神々が宿る山』と宿の主が教えてくれた。　（注）この動画の最後に写真で紹介している『浦見川』は、『恨み川』にしたいほど硬い岩盤があり、難工事だったらしい。 Following a friend's recommendation, I enjoyed cycling around the MIKATA Five Lakes. Lake KUGUSHI and Lake HINATA, which connect to Wakasa Bay, are home to fishing villages and fishing ponds, and are the living spaces of the local people, giving them a certain charm. This is an area worth seeing. Unfortunately, you can't expect to cover a satisfying distance by bicycle, and even if you go around Lake Suigetsu and Lake Mikata to the south, you'll be done in no time. The total distance is less than 40 km. On the other hand, the bicycle path is almost completely developed, except for a few kilometers riding the roadside. Perhaps with support from the nearby MIHAMA Nuclear Power Plant, luxurious facilities have been built, which contrast with the decline of JR and the area. There are many historical relics.
