I tried almost everuthing this year and it was a nightmare in the long run. I picked up a few planners for next year. I will need to destash what i decide not to use, but im leaning towards the paper tess pocket daily and the b6 sterling ink... i already told myself if they dont work im just pulling out a notebook from my stash and moving on lol. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and decision making process.
@@moniques.journal.corner Thanks for sharing your thoughts. It is really a struggle to decide with so many options, especially with 3 months or so left in the year.
Loved hearing your planner thoughts and insights. I am loving my NightOwl Journal this year - it has just enough structure, plus unbeatable flexibility so it can accommodate my daily logs and random notes. For 2025, I’m prioritizing portability (because, aging and heavy purses don’t go together too well) - so a Kinbor weeks as my “constant” for important notes and planning, then various small-ish notebooks for my daily logs.
@@pinayknitter omg I am also getting a Night Owl! Have you used a Kinbor previously? I keep forgetting about them, but since it's planner season, they're coming up again.
@@thestationeryjunkie I’ve used a Kinbor techo and loved the Avec-style A6 in 2023. Sadly, they have not released the 2-book techo this yr and next yr. I got the Kinbor weeks for 2025 instead of a Hobo bec (1) white paper, (2) no quotes so more space, and (3) more affordable. Yey, I’m excited to see how you’d be planning in your NightOwl in 2025! (Btw, I listened to your podcast eps while driving home from work - loved your in-depth analysis of all things planner… pls keep the episodes coming!).
@@pinayknitter omg nakaka-touch. 😭 thank yewwww!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ btw, how do you compare the kinbor paper with hobo's? Can kinbor take fountain pen ink well? Am thinking about comparing TRP with Bachuan paper. 🧐
@@thestationeryjunkie Kinbor paper -- the ones in the dated techo and weeks planner -- is thin and surprisingly fountain pen and gel pen-friendly! (Their notebooks and undated planners have slightly thicker paper). Ink definitely dries faster on Bachuan than on TRP. Also, I find there's slightly less ghosting on Kinbor than on TRP... I'm thinking Bachuan feels like a cross between TRP and Stalogy paper? I love TRP but sometimes, nakakainip ang ink drying time, hahaha.
This was super helpful! Went down the checklist with you and now I have a clearer picture of what I need next year!
@@myzticalrealm That's amazing! Glad it was helpful. ❤️

@@pinayknitter Thanks for this info. Dami ring horror stories on TRP for the 2025 Hobo techos, kaloka!
Thank you for sharing your system. I wish I could be so logical.
@@TheHappySoso thank you. Money is a finite resource and FOMO is real, so there has to be a way around this. 😅 I hope in some way this idea helps.
I have my Hobonichi weeks, cousin, and A6 , and I ordered a Paper Tess weeks to try for work.
@@ccrgrl sounds like you have your 2025 planners all set. That's great!
