ABOUT ME
- I'm Cambodian and Chinese.
- I was born in November of 1983 and raised in Houston, although my heart lays in between Houston and Hawaii.
- "OG KPOP STAN": I've always used the term "OG" (supposedly "original gangster") to define being old-school, and I became an avid Korean music aka Kpop listener/lover since 1998. Kpop was my coping mechanism from the bullying I experienced in my younger years and it's just stuck by me ever since. Also! Just to be clear: me calling myself an "OG kpop stan" doesn't mean that anyone who's listened to kpop later than me is inferior. A kpop lifestyle is a kpop lifestyle regardless of time.😄
- I was a hiphop dancer for about 7 years. I did the whole crew thing, auditioning thing, competition thing, choreography thing, dance instructor thing, so I have some experience in that field and I hope to be able to share some perspective from my experiences for y'all to see the extra things that I appreciate about a video when I point them out.
- My videos can have quite a lot of cuts in editing and/or my eyes will unnaturally blink rapidly sometimes. This is because of my neurological disease that came with my lupus nephritis (posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome). My thinking abilities and speaking abilities struggle to align at times.
- Yes, that's Jack Sparrow's ring that I always wear in my videos. I've been a Pirates of the Caribbean fan ever since I rode the ride for the first time ever in Disneyland when I was a kid.🤓

I'm mostly girl group trash, but A.C.E. is one of the most well rounded groups out there!! I saw them in concert and they were fucking fantastic!
It a completely different style of song/choreo, but I'd love to hear your thoughts on My Lover (dance practice) and Baby Tonight (live performance). Thanks for giving A.C.E some attention.
Oh and something I'd like to add!!! The concept of Goblin it's rooted on korean traditional culture (and their traditional portrayal of goblins of course), and the choreo also has reference to it!! The prechorus with Jun at the center that you mentioned with the arms and stuff are reference to will-o-wisp and when another member (Donghun) rolled on the flor, it was bc korean goblins are said to lik wrestling and stuff. There maybe some other details I don't remember rn. Sorry if I sucked at explaining this tho T_T it's 1am and i'm neither native in english nor a dancer so sorry!!!!! Thanks for your reactions and insight and just being interested on a.c.e in general!!!

Choice right here!!! Jun is also my bias lol. A.C.E are such great dancers and performers overall they truly are amazing!!!! I hope you can react more to them. Sadly I think all of their mv for title tracks may be a problem with the flashing lights and colors and stuff, except for Take me higher and Under Cover i think, so keep that in mind. But you can always check out their dance practices!!! There's cactus, their debut song (which has a 2017 ver, a 2020 ver, a 1.5x and 2x speed ver and the SO iconic relay dance), Callin' (their first cb), Take me higher (this song is so fun!!!) and Savage, and some bsides like Slow dive, Mr. Bass and Clover are also worthy of checking out^^ Plus they've done numerous dance covers throught the years you can find on their channel on the "Covered by A.C.E" playlist... oh and they have glorious vocals i may say.
Hope you can react to their dance covers too, they did EXO and some other groups and it was amazing to watch. They did a VIXX one live too and really honored their seniors with that one (even VIXX fans seemed to be thankful), for that performance, I do believe they literally learned the choreography in like 1-3 days and even got similar styling as Vixx's original performance had (I believe it was for On and On?). A.C.E is amazing with everything they do, from their original songs to the vocal and dance covers ^^ Definitely would recommend to watch their Vixx and EXO covers but they are all good imo (even if it had to be on Patreon or something)

You should check out their Callin dance MV! (the actual MV has a lot of flashing and effects but the dance MV is a lot easier on the eyes).
Callin is my favourite choreo of theirs. It's filled with beautiful levels and seamless transitions. Delicate and powerful at the same time 🤩
Just some funny info for this choreography.
Bk (the one in the dark gray shirt, the main dancer) said in one of their interviews that since he loves dancing the choreographer really pushed him and gave him hard solo parts, but for Jun he was like "just stand there and look handsome". 🤣

Happy you like them. The flashing lights could be a problem but luckily, most of their videos don't use them as much as Callin does (which was... an interesting ... experience that kind of hurt my eyes a bit, still a great song of course). More A.C.E is always amazing ^^

I don’t know a lot about ACE but I love all their songs I have heard, including their covers. They are very talented.
Would you consider reacting to Pentagon’s “Daisy” dance practice and BTOB4U “Show Your Love” MV & performance video or dance practice. I would recommend Daisy MV but it has a lot of color changes but not really flashing lights (each member’s set is a different color) and I don’t want you to have issues. However, if you feel up to it, it is an amazing video.

The MV (Director Cut) is soooo good, you should check it out! The traditional street fashion fusion looks dope plus so many references to folklore.
If you haven't seen it yet, you should check out the Slow Dive dance practice. It's so good, they never did the actual video for the song. It's unnecessary when the dance practice exists!
