Tourists from all over the world have begun to come to Iraq after it became a safe country. I am truly happy and I tell you that the Iraqi people are all happy after we finally emerged from wars and chaos and began to build our destroyed country from scratch. These moments are among the happiest days that Iraqis live. Currently, the urban development and projects that are currently taking place are very large, and we expect that in 2025, Iraq will be one of the leading and developed countries 💖 Welcome to your country, Iraq. We love everyone
I shed a tear reading this , im an iraqi born outside and was living in iraq during 2006-2008 in Baghdad it was daily bombings . Havent been there for ages my father lives in Baghdad i will go this year for sure !!!! Big hugs from argentina where i currently reside
As an Iraqi, I always hated the trash sites, the worn out buildings, and even the little saiba (the yellow car) I suppose it's because i'm used to it. Yet, through the eyes of a foreigner, especially in a very inspiring way, made me for the first time realize that beauty exists abundantly, EVERYWHERE. I truly thank you for this beautiful content, everything are well put together, the music, the photography, the editing and specially your perspective of the world, such a unique and talented insight. ps: I freaking love japan and I hope one day to visit it
There’s something even only Iraqis know the wars won’t stop the European and American refuse to let Iraq advance and let Iraq become modern every time Iraq tried to do that they started a war or bombings I don’t know how the heck but that’s how it is and for Syria it just seems like they want it wiped so much people are suffering there.
Two things: 1. Chug the Pepsi, finish it off, return the bottle to them so they can recycle it. 2. In Arab cultures, it is always considered polite to accept eating with those who invite you, you might also make great friends who can help you discover the city and be there in case you need help. 3. Iraqi's are very friendly and hospitably like many other Arabs, they are a very social culture and very curious people.
As a fellow iraqi photographer i was really pleased to see this ! Seeing my country through such a creative lens is a nice experience. I hope you enjoyed staying here
This is the first time I watch this type of video by a foreign TH-camr. I have never seen a photographer photographing the streets of Baghdad. I wish you a happy trip and I wait for you to come to Holy Karbala.
To have such interested and welcoming interactions with your subjects is so great. Catching real moments with people who are earnestly willing to share their life with you is a dream for a photographer. My heart would be racing with excitement when the older boy asked to come inside and take more photos. Congrats on a great shoot day! The Iraqi people are so warm. What an interesting time to visit as they rebuild
At first it seems super hostile to walk through unknown streets, as a foreigner, I don't know what you felt but that's what street photography is about. I love this video because it shows a little about what the people are like there, their culture, friendliness, etc.
I organize tourist trips within Iraq using my own car and hold a valid driver's license. I engage in this activity as a preferred hobby for a modest fee, enjoying the opportunity to share the beauty and culture of Iraq with others. My home is located about 20 minutes from the ancient ruins of Babylon.
The media is biased and false most of the time when its about the middle east the best way to know the people just reach out and talk to them greetings from iraq ❤
Of course, they worship tourists and kiss the ground they walk on, and if youre a woman youd get the special treatment of catcalling and being followed around.
I search Iraq on Google and most of the top results are 2015 pictures when ISIS took over Mosul that resulted in massive migration to Baghdad, Abril and other states. Yup, definitely biased.
Yes, my friend, it is unfortunate to hear that the Western media has distorted the image of our country 🇮🇶🙄 In addition, this spectral person only photographs the old and poor areas of Baghdad, while there are more modern areas and cities. We love you very much, welcome to Iraq 🇮🇶❤️
Welcome to Iraq. I wish you could come to northern Iraq, to my city of Mosul, the city of prophets, antiquities, and the Assyrian civilization. I liked the video, Khastak. I am also a photographer from the city of Mosul. We Iraqis welcome all visitors coming for the purpose of tourism. My greetings to you.
@@Taqi142 This is absolutely not true, and the evidence for my words is now that the citizens of Mosul live in peace. Mosul is a beautiful and very ancient city with religious and cultural diversity.
This is important work! I'm sure it started out as just a trip, but the impact is so much more. A win for all parties involved: for the local Iraqis, yourself, and your audience. It's important to show the no-frills, mundane everyday life of a people, especially ones who have been under/misrepresented in media. And you don't normally get this view from more formal presentations (news, documentaries, etc.). What's WILD though was the kid operating the whole bulldozer, just amazing! Lastly, this video gave me similar vibes to what I felt just walking around an inaka in Japan that one time.
There is so much more to see in iraq, a lot of beautiful and modern places and buildings, the place you visited is a bit old and crowded as well as dirty. I wish i had a chance to meet you and show you around other areas because I’m interested in seeing tourists in my country. If you ever visited iraq again please do let me know :)
bro you make my city look beautiful bro, when I walk down the streets if there’s any trees that’s the only thing I like, considering the amounts of garbage people throw everywhere, I’ve lived in England for 4 years and I know what others countries look like like (turkey, Scotland, England) I’ve been there my fathers been all around Europe tho, so he knows more.

I went to school at the same time the Iraq war started kicking off and we eventually welcomed a few Iraqi kids who had come over as refugees with their families. Even with a bit of a language barrier, I will always remember the stories they would tell about their home and it has stuck with me to this day. I'd love to come and visit one day, maybe take a film 35mm and a Mamiya 7ii since I think these streets will come alive with film.
Hi @Kohki Yamaguchi, I am from Iraq but living outside, Thanks for showing this positive side of my country I know the media showed the bad things only for long time, If you still in Iraq try to visit the southern areas like Marshes & Zaqurah, Also try to visit Basrah

The Iraqi people are very kind, respectful and intelligent. The British and American occupation destroyed Iraq and made it a gloomy country. The Gulf countries support terrorism, especially Saudi Arabia, the Emirates, Bahrain and even Jordan. All the explosions in Baghdad are caused by Saudis, Palestinians and Jordanians. Iraq is the country of ancient Sumerian, Assyrian, Babylonian and Akkadian civilizations. It is the country of science and culture. Sorry for so much staring, we don't see much visitors and we don't see many people from other races, I think through out my life I only saw 7 black people and 3 Asians, Indians are a bit more common to see but seriously we will stare cuz it's phenomenal to know there are visitors esp if it's clear you are a tourist cuz "who came for tourism in here for God sake". Also we are not too familiar with people filming streets, even local bloggers mostly don't do that, it's for respecting people's privacy but don't worry we won't be pissed at all. btw so many people are still living in these old buildings, they are even pricey in places like Karadah

أهلا وسهلا بيك في العراق ❤
Even if our country has big problems....we welcome all people from all over the world, love you all :) ❤
