- I bought this 2003 CORT GB55 5-String bass guitar on the used marketplace recently and I think it was a really good find! Active electronics, Jazz & Musicman style pickups, string thru body bridge, 19mm string spacing and more. The colour has a real vintage feel and I am looking forward to playing it with my band and on some recording to see how it sounds. I might be interested in making a new pickguard and replacing the tuners in the near future... maybe the pickups, as well. Enjoy the video!

Really nice looking bass. Lovely orangey - yellowy colour, and the transparent nature of the finish just suits that bass. Some Cort instruments are absolutely great, and under-rated IMHO. I'm not really a 5 string player - but I keep an Ibanez SR505 to one side, for an occasional "noodle". Your new Cort would be brilliant for that sort of occasional use. Happy new bass day :)
Cort Korea basses are super high quality. Both Cort and Samick make so many other guitar brands in their state of the art factories!!!,
Please show more videos on more cort bassea
I know, right? They are pretty nice but I don't see many of them.
I love that bass!!!!!!
if that was my bass, I would put stickers all over it and make it a punk bass, I would leave the pickups alone, and I would change the nut to a bone nut. really ,that bass is perfect the way it is.
That string tree is very necessary.
I have a prs se custom 24 and I want to know how to get to the volume and push pull tone pot to get some spray lubricant into the pots, do you have a video on how to do that? and what's the best sort of spray lube is best to use?
There should be a cover on the back of the guitar for access to the pots; use an electrical contact cleaner.
