Lol, I'm sure we were not the only ones noticing that 😂. 🎉 he can party with a "16 ponder" and all the other OBSCURE things he said. My Dad was a 17 year British Armed Forces Veteran, and his Dad And his Dad, etc. I'm POSITIVE my Dad would have "buckled " him because he could play bass and race car's. Your ETICATE is to be commended. 😂🎉. I Tip my Hat
Ive been playing a fender j-bass that Ive been playing upside down because its just what feels comfortable. I'm looking to buy a left-handed bass. Hopefully the switch is for the better and not too choppy.
I'm on a MIJ Fender Aerodyne - loving ALMOST every aspect. The one downside is that with the binding, this P-Bass sacrifices its smooth, rounded corners for somewhat harder , bound corners. Loos TOTALLY boss, but I have to think a little extra about ideal positioning.
Currently playing a (freebee) Rogue LX460 Pro model. I actually like it and will say it's wayyy better than expected, but it's time to upgrade to something better. Pretty much bent on a Schecter Stilleto 5, but also like Jackson JS3 Concert bass, Stirling Stingray and Yamaha BB basses.
I dare to say that the Yamaha is the winner here, seriously well made, affordable and simply does it all. It is a pro grade bass and far outranks the other basses in this list.
The Jackson is a 'lightweight' 7.3kg (16lbs)...are you sure that's right. That's nearly twice the weight of my Ibanez SR1305...!? The Sterling description is not of the guitar shown, Shechter? It's Schecter without the Scottish loch sch... poor commentary and poor video.
I have 2 Jacksons, an ellefson model 4 string and a 5string JS3VQ. They both rock and they have very fast action if you are looking for that. I am looking at a spector though because I played a used one at the local guitar center and it was sick.
at 1:00 you say 'a lightweight body at just 16 pounds'. You must be kidding. Perfect for beginners?? That must be a mistake and the person reading it must be either ignorant of basses or laughing as they say it. You maybe have read that from a Google result from Amazon where the packaging figures are completely way out.
Think you might want to check the weight of the Jackson - “light weight body at 16 lbs”.

Yeah, 7.3 kgs its lighweight, you weakling 😂
*Fender Steve Harris signature bass has entered the chat*
My Schecter Stiletto Studio - 5. It’s my baby, my go to bass. I use it for everything. Very versatile and very solid quality and sound.
No idea why this channel isn’t bigger. Subscribed
I am just starting on bass because I was given a Warwick Corvette 5 String. I have to admit that it's a bit challenge but I am really enjoying it.
Totally dig the accent - and the content too!

Schecter SLS Evil Twin is my primary. She's absolutely fantastic.
I'm using a ESP LTD B-50 bass from Indonesia and I love it
Fender and Warwick. My Warwick is heavy but very strong smooth and like butter, my fender is just an all around winner.
I've had a P Bass for 43 years and love it, my acoustic is not bad
@@miguelangelcolon1345 Fender is the only one that makes a true
P bass 😀
@@earlvanfleet3501That doesn't even make sense… G&Ls are designed by Leo Fender.
@@estebanb7166 who said anything about G & L, it's a Chinese bass. At least it is something to play now!

Are Dingwall any good?
Schecter is the winner. Performance and price. Also it's pretty.
These are good, is there any good base guitar within 100-200 $

I have a 2021 Squier Affinity Jazz V in Olympic White. I also have a Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar bass in Black.
Currently love my sterling ray 34 HH!
yo i got a js2p spectra, basically a js2 that is upcharged by like 100$. plays very well for a beginner guitar and plenty good enough for me.
just got an ibanez sr300edx last week
I have a Bacchus/ Craft series 4-string
I play a Bacchus DX4. Bacchus flies under the radar in the USA, But I will happily put my Bacchus up against a Sadowski.
Yes .. Bacchus are amazing.

Yamaha basses are great basses. I have a RBX 375 and a TRBX 305... I prefer abd use them more than my Spector Euro 4.
Its like nobody’s making shitty instruments anymore
What about the greg bennett samick db bass guitar not on the video? Are they good?
I don't have the bass, but have 3 Greg Bennett guitars, they kick ass! Very underrated, and not so damn expensive either!
Make your mind, 2022 or 2023?
2024 😂 Idek
Peavey BXP milestone Jazz love it
Trying to find a bass guitar sub £600 not made in China or Indonesia. Given up now. Do they exist?
Not after Corona period. all good stuff are more expensive these days.
Thanks. Avoid the JS2. 16 POUNDS. What am I, 16 years old?
What is the song called wich was played in the intro?
The stingray bass is 34 inch scale not 24!
How much
harley benton sound clip 🤔
Hey thats my song name
Wow. Fender came in at #1. How surprising.

I weigh twelve times more than that

Any 'Best Bass" list that doesn't also include Ibanez isn't worth listening to.
I can't afrod any of these
Look at some of the Harley Bentons - they have their own version of the Sterling as well as the usual JB and PB models…

That is not a Ray 34...
I dont think they are called "bass guitars" i think they are just called basses

7.3 kg ! Are you serious ?😂
Drop A comment
oh fuck who the hell is comment and why does he use drop A
Man, you talk too much and too loud, can't hear the basses themself.
Why would anyone have a guy with Scottish accent narrate ANYTHING
Body wood makes no difference in tone
I agree it only contributes to weight
@@MarcG7424 Weight definitely affects tone
@@Whiskel nope
Really? Why arent we making guitars out of plastic?
