A blue sky os getting as rare as hens teeth.
So few insects and no point trying to grow anything. They were out spraying above us yesterday and now we have autumn weather, leaves falling! 😢
@@lauralauralaura222 hahaha
Where do you live ?
The far side of the moon......😂😂
Are we getting forgetful...?
You should try the Met office history, it'll help you to stop making such silly posts.
The spraying releases nano..partic.alized alum.inum which, after death and autopsy, is found in Every Alzheimers Patient's Brains, sadly. @@lauralauralaura222
Your show doesn't need guests... You know what we need to be aware.... and how we need to discuss with purpose....You are on target my friend..We are here
Richard make the following:
3 tablespoon lemon juice. 1 teaspoon ground ginger. 1 teaspoon ground turmeric. 1 teaspoon raw honey. Mix together in a teacup. Pour boiling water over it and stir. Sip the entire cup. Do this at least twice a day. Its not tasty but it will break up your chest and throat. ❤
Lemon, Garlic, honey.
The neighbouring farm to one I owned in Ayrshire many years ago was run by an ancient descendant of John 'monstrous regiment of women' Knox and he, aged 80+ cut his hay with a scythe, turned and stooked the hay and did everything by hand despite having access to or owning more modern farm equipment. Since my Massey Ferguson spent more time in bits than working, I did as he did, and turned fields by hand. Never felt happier and my children, who were very young, were round my feet throughout the process. I have never seen a piece of tat for sale - the cars, holidays, clothes and gizmos - that come close to comparing to the richness of a dawn breaking over the work that day will bring..
I love my animals and my hens - and my half tamed wild birds. Hens are incredibly intelligent creatures and have taught me so much. The wholesale slaughter of their kind being carried out just now causes me intense distress - and I feel confident that other people who are owned by hens will understand what I'm saying.
Thank you for this wander through your own journey.
I despair at this new meat eating propaganda that has been swallowed (a little pun to lighten the topic)..by so many of the so called tRutffErS inhabiting this channel.
Their gullibility and ignorance is an indicator of an open mind that holds nothing.
Beautiful and important message. We ARE a part of nature. Once we reconnect with it, we will remember & find our happiness once more. The material World is a distraction. I could visualise the dawn breaking as you described ❤
@@reba8038 Thank you for that kind response. I learned it a child to savour and cherish my dawns. The warmest and the quietest moments of a winter's day lies in the silence just before the day breaks over the skies. I trust my children learned it, the touching of the land, holding it somewhere to remember when being young and rushing at life loses its appeal. They do seem to have.
Not that farmer, but an equally old one, told me to live each day as if it was my last and to till my ground as if I would live forever. There are far worse philosophies to live by - each moment of the day holds my final breath and I spend them as wisely as I am able, occupied by something something - whatever it may be - that may serve a purpose after I have gone. I don't effortlessly succeed, because anyone who has spent any time trying to coax inanimate objects to cooperate will be familiar with the frustration and depths of despair boiled up when all the reasoned persuasion in the world is fruitless. But I try. And I blame the faeries for the missing tools/screws/water bucket...tangled hose. And glasses - it is fatal to take those off even for a moment.
inspiring message thankyou ..btw what breed of laying hens are the best, the most healthy ?
@@roarkbjorn2389 My neighbours always swore by Marans and Rhode Island Reds but I don't know from personal experience. I descended into crazy chicken lady by giving safe haven to rescue battery farm hens, and those are, I gather, a hybrid kind. Apparently - I am told but have not personally witnessed - farms confuse the hens sense of time by using lights to indicate daytime/night time so as to get 2 eggs a day which is why they dont last long and are usually culled when 2. My girls have lasted 3 years since being spared that fate and once eggs are no longer forthcoming, they simply live out their retirement. I didn't take them on just for eggs anyway. They are remarkably intelligent, curious creatures and you can learn a great deal about compassion and understanding this world from them, if you listen.
Those chickens absolutely Love you❤
Every summer on warm days , I sit in my garden ( I’m surrounded by fields and farms) and enjoy watching the birds, feed.
I have trees and a small wild garden for bees and insects etc.
The other day, I noticed, no bees 🐝, wasps, ladybirds 🐞 and hardly any birds.
I look up at the sky and see the weird cloud formation., and when did the sun turn white?!
I’ve only recently discovered your channel, it’s so informative, thank you.
I’ve been saying to my husband that things in nature seem to be missing or changing for ages, now I know why.
Sorry for the long ramble, get better soon, rest, sleep, plenty of walks in the countryside.
Please don't fall for the chemtrail nonsense propagated here.
It has nothing to do with 5G, that's ridiculous.
Monoculture and pesticides lost of habitat are the main problems.
Farming needs to return back to the old ways, rotating crops and fields left alone to recuperate naturally.
Chickens can be so very calming and gardening is lovely. Sadly, here in SW Ontario, there has been an inordinate amount of rain, culminating in the remnants of Beryl dumping INCHES of rain on my garden. My veg patch looks like I should be growing rice lol. Not sure if I'm going to harvest anything at all this year...well there's next year...
The chickens are curiously pecking at Richard's legs, which is quite amusing to watch. Their inquisitive nature and persistence in exploring his legs with their beaks add a touch of humor to the scene. It almost seems as if they are showing support for Richard's channel. Richard's attempts to shoo them away only seem to entertain the chickens more, making the moment even more delightful.
You know what they say....
Simple minds like simple things.
@@killingtime4250 , then you were also entertained. Well,
@@I-Dophler Hmmm yes I suppose I am..
A despairing sort of entertainment.
I'm either laughing out loud or head in hands cringing..

Nice to see you out in nature
The hens like hanging out with you Richard 😊
Chickens love you richly , they obviously see a true guy they can trust 👍❤️
Renowned for their intelligence are they....? 😂😂
ginger and nettle tea
Lol.... chicken is demanding attention Richard...needs a cuddle 💚
Just listen to those hens singing 😀
Thanks for your support of British farmers. People are so detached about where their food comes from.
Seeing as you attended Groundswell last year, please support regenerative farming more and spread the word. Farming can work along side nature and soil health is the most important thing 😊🌱🌾🐓🐄🚜
When I was a volunteer for the BTCV we used to do some conservation work for farmers. It may have been clearing a pond or helping out with the hedgerows. Many farmers are also conservationists. It's not an either/or issue for me.
Will follow you anyway because you speak sense.
On the egg 🥚 side of things, I remember going to my aunties farm 🚜 and we would hunt for eggs every morning. Fantastic times 😊
No...
Eggciting times..
@killingtime4250 oh dear 😆 🤣. Fact though.
@@Jeffwalker66 Sorry, couldn't help it...😉
I agree with every word. We are complete in every way when we are in touch with our land and food. I'm hosting my family with 2 children this week and am shocked that they spend all the time possible online even though the parents limit screen time. I have tried to organise outdoors activities, including working water mills, and boat trips, to friends small holding to meet the animals. But we are plagued with poor weather and cold white skies. Have a lovely time in the country with Julia come wind rain or shine, nature is the great restorative.
It's called English weather...you dress accordingly.
Richard, it's always a pleasure to listen to your monologue and I do share them at my Facebook page.

Oh Richard, bless you..go ahead and follow your calling...its so lovely to see you surrounded by these beautiful creatures that feed us..we all...
none of us know when we will leave this planet. Go do your thing lots of love to you and the lovely Julia...xx
We just got 3 chickens. Lovely animals. Giving us lovely eggs.
Eggs from free range chickens are absolutely on another planet compared to the ones you buy!
A rooster is male. Males don’t lay eggs so I’m not sure what you’ve been eating.
@@matthewdaly6920 mymistake in writing roosters....i meant chikens who roam around rather than being in cages
Hardly any bees or butterflies and grass not growing on the Isle of Wight, and terrible cold weather, they are Chemtrailling every day. It’s got to stop.
Same here in Devon 😢
Maybe it would help if you stopped imagining stuff?
@@fionafraser573 “they” are not chemtrailing every day though are they? What you can see are passenger aircraft, probably from Luton, Heathrow, Stanstead, or Gatwick. People going on holiday as they do every year. The hold of the aircraft is not full of chemicals it is full of luggage and sun tan lotion.
Until people actually make them stop by finding out who supplies the toxins and interfering with their supply chain, then it won't stop. We need to be more like the French & take matters into our own hands.
If we don't make our wishes known, they assume we are okay with it. Or at least that's their excuse.
My dad always had chickens we always had fresh eggs for breakfast ❤my grandfather was a farmer 💚
You NEED raw garlic
You NEED raw garlic
every day for 3 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Exactly
Yes and Turmeric milk with a bit of black pepper Richard
Thanks I will try that 🙂
This is just a wonderful idea. It really resonates with me. I grew up in the country and miss it. I’m in a townhome working 9 hours a day in front of a computer. I miss the land.
This is one of my favourite monologues. So natural.
No one can resist the siren song of chickens.
Beautiful, lovely chickens, chatting away 😊
💜 Rest and recoup Richard, divine timing (channel ban) for you to detox, and take stock, whilst resting mind, and body, and spirit ☀️🌿
🇬🇧
The chickens depend on you
Your throat sounds as raw and painful as mine was a few days ago. Same fly overs in 🏴. I have to go in and close the doors because it goes for my head throat and chest. I also can't walk in a straight line. It's cold up here still, no summer so far. I hope you are better soon. 💙
It’s absolutely wonderful being around chickens they really are therapeutic. Wonderful 🙏🙏😀😀
Most people only find the therapeutic value of chickens in their belly.
Around the earth 140,000 chickens every minute of the day are slaughtered to satisfy their want.
But don't say too much here, most are big meat eaters.
Love it and you and completely resonate and totally feel it, my husband and I want exactly the same, you were well and truly getting hen pecked then Richard 😂🙏💞 We spent 10 months on a farm after I lost my family home when Mum died and in honesty, though we have nothing, never been more happy or free 🙏
Hope you start feeling a bit better. Love to you and Julia from @funkyprepper and I 💗
My hens are the same as these, ‘Bevan Browns’. I also have 4 Bluebells. Having only had them since January I’m a novice at 63 years old and it’s almost a full time job but such a delight 😊
We have a few hens..our best friends !
You need to sell up and get yourself a farm... Stuff to all the evil ...😅
Such happy sounding hens, I grew up on a smallholding and we had hens like that, lovely company about the place 👍🙏🏻💖
If those are corduroy pants, they are trying to get the lines lol
😊bless you Richard, you're gonna make a great chicken daddy! Look after yourself and get well soon, we love you!❤
They wanted some treats Richard 🙂
Nothing better than getting your hands in the earth and surrounded by animals!
I know we spoke previously via email about my work with Animals - they can feel your energy. They have likes and dislikes and fears etc just like us and are navigating these crazy times too.The chickens definitely like you Richard, they can tell people with a pure heart ❤. Wishing you and Julia the best to find that perfect piece of land. It is my dream someday too.
Mind you don't give those chickens 'bird flu'!!!😂 😂 Lovely clip & understand re needing space from emf's & the absolute need to be out in nature. Me too. As an outsider, just a thought....do you think you're a little run down as you've had what appears to be an absolutely hectic schedule of events continually for ages, from what I deduce...add to that, the hassle Julia went through with the 'bailiffs' & then the unfortunate incident when her son ended up in A&E when you thought you were having a relaxing day at the beach....& now Y t playing up....all this stuff adds up & takes it toll! Enjoy some 'me time' in the countryside & do what feels right for your well being.....we'd miss you terribly if you totally disappeared into the ether forever though of course! Much love to both & hope your vision comes true...when the time is right 💖
You're looking henpecked Richard. We know it's not the lovely Julia of course. She's wonderful of course & is spiritually wholesome.

And do you know that if a hen sees a mouse it will more than likely have it, down in one. They are so feisty
We have spekeldy hens, also great layers
I love chickens, they are curious creatures. Very relaxing to watch and unlike the very sad girls in horrid battery farms, they can scratch the earth and forage. Then you are rewarded with the most beautiful eggs. I grew up on a small holding. It is a certain way of life that keeps you connected to Mother Nature. No time for screens! I hope you feel better soon Richard🙏
I hear the concerns of 'monoculture', but in today's world, with population concentration largely in cities, the idea of small farms feeding the world is not very practical.
Stop making sense....that's no fun.
I want chem trails, 5G and other conspiracy parodies...
Man needs to live in harmony with nature, that's why you feel comfortable in the barn with the chickens. This is the way forward, live with nature, be happy.
Beautiful, Richard. I'm also on the road to a smallholding. Bless to you all out there. x

NOTHING is growing the way it should!!!
I did a video on the 29/06/24 of the sky it was bad. We had no sun for 4 days after that.
I’ve been photographing it all, the amount of chemtrails is frightening and is building, more and more each week.
@@lauralauralaura222 It's shocking i have never seen it so bad. This is why i did a video. More people need to do this. I was watching a farmer on youtube and he was saying. He is thinking of selling his livestock as he has had one grass cut this year for feed and he needs a lot more to feed his livestock. all the wild bees have gone from my garden i did have a lot as i have wild bee boxes in my garden. Bumble bees are dying in my garden as well.
How lovely Richard, this looks like your natural habitat and I just know that you and Julia will secure your small holding in the end. I agree that you definitely have to get out of Worthing with all those sinister black Poles. I sincerely hope you're feeling better soon.❤

They are cleaning your trousers Richard. But you are in a very special place. I kept chickens in my garden for many years, it is clear they think you are friendly. Lol....
Get up at 6? the days over!😊
Don't let the buggers get you down Richard! If they have to defend them selves from you, that only means one thing, that you are powerful. I prescribe deep (diaphragm) breathing and one hour of disco dancing per day - for three months.
I love that advice. I think I will take up disco dancing too 😊
Awesome! So happy for you two! Can't wait to see the land!!
When you get chooks you will know who is who.
Go for it Richard you dont need a lot of acres to be self sufficient we bought 15 acres best thing we ever did got goats chickens big market garden pigs and horses I work harder now than a job but enjoy it more
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences from the farm. It's always fascinating to hear about the challenges and rewards of working on the land. Crikey Richard, hope you haven't passed on bird flu to those beautiful, healthy chooks or their owners😉😬 As a 68 yr old retired smallholder - 20 acres of gd fertile land organic land, we knew the names and natures of all our animals - cows, calves, pigs, goats, 50 odd bobby calves.
No matter the acreage of your land it is hard physical work and it's rare to get away for a few days. With them using planes to spray their poison upon us 24/7 and probably messing with town water supplies, and purchased seeds, it's been very difficult to even get the home garden to grow veg like it used to😥. It's absolutely gut-wrenching to put in all the work for such little return. Sadly, the man-made famine is already very much under way.
Nice to see you 😊😊😊😊😊
