Just ordered a complete kit for my black '21 DCT Tour, Max. $450 is cheap protection for my $30k bike. I cant thank you enough for all the innovation and hard work you put into every product. Some people aren't happy unless they're bitching about something or tearing other people down. Screw 'em.
Max your so devoted to your business and if I still had my goldwing £5-600 is a small price to pay for protecting the bodywork of the bike and exhaust. I think the time and thought put into making quality parts isn't appreciated by some, but it is here. Your devotion to Goldwings should be celebrated. Your solutions unique to goldwings goes far beyond suspension, your quality central flap lock was a beautifully engineered part to enhance the bike and to have a colour choice of annodisation shows you were willing straight away to cater for different tastes. Carry on your appreciated here in the UK.
Don't listen to the haters. I bought a 2023 Goldwing 2 weeks ago and ordered you Tip Over Protection a few days later. Plan to install it this weekend. Thank you for making this. Reasonable priced.
Two things you don't skimp on with a Goldwing. Front and Rear Cameras and Tip over protection. If a Goldwing falls over oh boy will you ever pay for it. $450 is actually cheap when you consider the alternative. Same with front and rear cameras. Salute to you Max for coming up with a system that actually works. And you proved it.
I was an aeronautical engineer for 30 years and some of the parts we used to get designed and manufactured by big aerospace companies would be priced off the charts. They couldn't have produced what you have here for less than £10,000 per set. I kid you not, I once had to install a tiny triangular fibreglass panel the size of a sandwich and it had cost £5,000. Custom designed solutions are never cheap and as you rightly say, most are happy to part with big money for some gimmicky lights - as a show of appreciation I've joined your wingmen👍I'm saving up for the crash protection and your 2018+ front & rear shocks.
OMFG, I friggin love you, dude! Been contemplating the addition of a GW for two years now, dead-set on a manual bagger. Well, Honda finally did it and I plan to buy one within the next few months. Been subscribed to your channel for almost one year in anticipation of my purchase, and your crash protection development is what sold me on your channel. Bet your ass it'll be my first aftermarket purchase, and I can't thank you enough for creating it! I agree it's good looking, plus understated AF. I own a '21 Street Bob and '23 Road King Special, and on EACH bike spent in excess of $500 to get the proper protection. The way you blended it seamlessly with the bike beats the shit out of what we're accustomed to in Harleyville. The big ass crash bar thing is hideous, IMO, but it is what it is and I care about my investments. Thank you again, and thank you for telling it like it is. Damn straight you and your team worked hard and have a shit-ton of sweat equity in your developments. Max I purchased your belly pan kit because of the work you put into the design and the quality of the product. I didn't really pay attention to the price because I knew it was well designed and would be worth the value. I'm sure your tip over protection products are thought out and designed the same way. My bike was knocked off the side stand 8 months ago and it took a couple of months just to get the replacement left side parts and I was without the bike and out the deductible. I hope these folks that were all talk follow up and purchase the T O P kits from you. GO get 'em Max. - Signed happy customer.

I stumbled to your video, thought it was a Yamaha FJR1300ES on the rack. Oh well, it is a Goldwing. Guess what? I don't own Goldwing, but I am with you 200%. Seriously . Many people have no clue but asking for a cheap price. Go order from China. Believe in what you believe, you delivered an excellent presentation, emotionally, angry (in a good way) but at the same time stay professional. It is not easy to present what you just did, to potential of thousands or may be millions of people. But you delivered it. I do not like or support the bad languages or words you used, but for some reason, it lined up perfectly and made sense. When anyone comes us with an innovative product the ideas will be stolen and copied without having to invest any money of their own. Everything I've ever designed has been stolen or copied. Max makes great product well engineered. I'm surprised how cost effective it is.

Hello, fellow riders. I know there has been a lot of discussion surrounding Traxxion's tip-over kit and the cost. I received my kit yesterday and put it on today, and I will say it was easy to do and I'm very happy with the result. Please take Max's advice on the how-to install video he made as it is very helpful and will keep you from making mistakes. Once that adhesive grabs on you have only seconds to adjust your placement if it is off. Practice it beforehand until you are confident that you are ready to go. My entire installation took about an hour. It looks like Honda put it there. I think it's the best solution anyone has come up with to date.
I'm glad you said what you said and I must admit, I thought it was kinda high, but you really put it in perpective for me. You are quite right and I thank you for taking to time to design something to protect my wife's bike. The Honda buyers should NOT be bashing you, they should be bashing Honda for producing a half -A design. Since we bought the new Goldwing we have been a faithful customer of Traxxion Products and I must admit the three items I bought from you have been very good quailty and WELL WORTH THE MONEY! Keep up the good work!
A friendly suggestion. I'm new to the Goldwing but I've already found your videos extremely helpful. Why not build on all the work you've already done and make a one-time drop protection stick-on. Less expensive adhesive, cheaper rubber/polymer that gets beat-up when you drop the bike, but you just peal it off and throw it away if you drop the bike. You already have the shapes figured out. The basic idea is a one-time plastic tape-on that prevents scratches from a drop. Just a thought before some Chinese company comes in with this type of product. Maybe this will allow you to recoup your investment.
Through our testing, we found that if it comes loose, at all, then it has no effect and the saddlebag will be damaged as if it wasn't there at all. Thanks for thinking, if you ever have ideas or suggestions, you can send them to me directly. max@traxxion.com

I have for 8 years a 1985 Goldwing and I wish it looked like the red one you got there! But has never broken down and I'm 70 years old so this is my last bike, my #13 since 1972. Im in the UK I have a K16 at the moment but plan on getting a Golding at some point and if Im paying £34k for a bike then spending another £500 or so to protect it is nothing in relative terms
Hello Max, I recently purchased a Gwing, big upstep from my Harley V-rod. I came across the video of you discussing the Gwing tip over protection. Yes sir you were passionate.😂 But I understand it is a good product I truly expect to purchase when I get my Goldwing. (Still at dealer). Since it is a bigger bike and from my test ride totally awesome I want to protect my investment. I expect I will be a customer going forward because you spoke the truth from a business standpoint. I’ve been self employed most of my working life. Continue being a good product producer because it’s many of us who want and need people like yourself!👍

What is the temperature range that the tip over protection can be installed on the bike...its getting cold and winter is coming and maybe you can't install this product in the colder temps and people are holding off til warmer weather returns...maybe sales will increase in the spring

Get 'em Max! I know about designing things. I have built things, sent a few weeks welding, designing, looking on the internet for hours on end for ideas and hardware, only to build something and have it not work and start all over. In your case it would be much worse, relatively low volume, compared to OEM so the cost for development per item gets high. I feel for you!

I guess I don’t get their beef. A saddlebag lid is $700 and that is not all of the damage that the bike would sustain in a drop. I dropped my ST1100 several years ago and the mirror cover had a large hole knocked out of it and the saddle bag lid was scratched up. It is not as complex as a Goldwing. One thins is almost assured…bikes that heavy will end up on their side at some point either from the stand sinking in or the bike just getting away from you. $450 is a reasonable price to pay. I just can’t afford the Goldwing to put it on. Keep up the good work.

I got my tip over kit, installed myself and I’m happy with the look on my 2021 GW Tour. My only regret is that I didn’t have the kit before I took a 3K ride from Vegas to Chicago & back!

As you know from our other email exchanges, I've ordered the new 2024 Tour DCT. Before I even get the bike, I'll be ordering the belly pan and the tip over kit. I'm Canadian, so everything I order has added 38% exchange added to it. Therefore, $1000 USD for those two items is almost $1400 CND. It is still a ridiculously small cost compared to plastic parts and paint, not to mention $15k to repair the engine. Math 101 at work here. Keep up your great work and videos, and as for the naysayers, just consider the source. No one forces anyone to watch your channel or buy from you. If they're not happy, go elsewhere, as you've said. Stay well.

I think Honda should of been the ones to make a real good protection system for their bike! Sometimes after market stuff is better and sometimes not. I personally think bars are the way to go, but the ones that come with the bike bend too easily. What is the solution? Wish it could be an easy fix. Saying all this, I have to say at least you are trying to come up with a good solution to the problem.

Your videos are extremely thorough, so thanks for doing what you do.
Love Mad Max's rant. If this kit were a Harley Davidson part, it would be priced at $1200. The bendy tool just arrived an hour ago. I'm going to bend that bar back when I have the daylight, re-aim the fog light, and see how it looks. Maybe I can get the tipover kit in a month or two.

When someone comes into my shop and complains about the price, I tell them to find someone else that does quality work for less. Wow, that was awesome! I started watching your videos only after buying a 2020 wing but had I somehow found your site before I owned it I'd still have watched. I just placed an order for your quick trunk removal kit and a few other goodies and to complete that project I also had to buy the required Honda components. But make no mistake, as soon as the 2024 riding season is close to returning for us Canadians I will be placing my order for the tip over protection as well. Keep up the good work.

Max, I only started watching your videos in July after purchasing my 2023 Goldwing. You have a great resume and proven experience in the motorcycle industry, especially with Goldwing R&D and modifications. I can understand your frustration with people who do not think before commenting to your videos, but I’m confident they are very much the minority to your channel. The majority of your followers will continue to watch and provide feedback/comments and purchase your products. I realize you have a lot of money in this product, but after you had this idea, did you canvas your followers on the idea, or from a business perspective you did not want to let the cat out of the bag? Good luck on future sales!
It was so out of the box, we did not want to show it or talk about it until it was ready to sell... Less time for China to copy it. Also had to get patents filed, etc.

Hello, fellow riders. I know there has been a lot of discussion surrounding Traxxion's tip-over kit and the cost. I received my kit yesterday and put it on today, and I will say it was easy to do and I'm very happy with the result. Please take Max's advice on the how-to install video he made as it is very helpful and will keep you from making mistakes. Once that adhesive grabs on you have only seconds to adjust your placement if it is off. Practice it beforehand until you are confident that you are ready to go. My entire installation took about an hour. It looks like Honda put it there. I think it's the best solution anyone has come up with to date.

I'm glad you said what you said and I must admit, I thought it was kinda high, but you really put it in perpective for me. You are quite right and I thank you for taking to time to design something to protect my wife's bike. The Honda buyers should NOT be bashing you, they should be bashing Honda for producing a half -A design. Since we bought the new Goldwing we have been a faithful customer of Traxxion Products and I must admit the three items I bought from you have been very good quailty and WELL WORTH THE MONEY! A friendly suggestion. I'm new to the Goldwing but I've already found your videos extremely helpful. Why not build on all the work you've already done and make a one-time drop protection stick-on. Less expensive adhesive, cheaper rubber/polymer that gets beat-up when you drop the bike, but you just peal it off and throw it away if you drop the bike. You already have the shapes figured out. The basic idea is a one-time plastic tape-on that prevents scratches from a drop. Just a thought before some Chinese company comes in with this type of product. Maybe this will allow you to recoup your investment.
Through our testing, we found that if it comes loose, at all, then it has no effect and the saddlebag will be damaged as if it wasn't there at all. Thanks for thinking, if you ever have ideas or suggestions, you can send them to me directly. max@traxxion.com

Im in the UK I have a K16 at the moment but plan on getting a Golding at some point and if Im paying £34k for a bike then spending another £500 or so to protect it is nothing in relative terms

But I understand it is a good product I truly expect to purchase when I get my Goldwing. (Still at dealer).
Since it is a bigger bike and from my test ride totally awesome I want to protect my investment. I expect I will be a customer going forward because you spoke the truth from a business standpoint.

Man Canadian Customs makes me crazy... they rob citizens trying to get goods from the US.
What is the temperature range that the tip over protection can be installed on the bike...its getting cold and winter is coming and maybe you can't install this product in the colder temps and people are holding off til warmer weather returns...maybe sales will increase in the spring

I know about designing things. I have built things, sent a few weeks welding, designing, looking on the internet for hours on end for ideas and hardware, only to build something and have it not work and start all over.
In your case it would be much worse, relatively low volume, compared to OEM so the cost for development per item gets high.

I guess I don’t get their beef. A saddlebag lid is $700 and that is not all of the damage that the bike would sustain in a drop. I dropped my ST1100 several years ago and the mirror cover had a large hole knocked out of it and the saddle bag lid was scratched up. It is not as complex as a Goldwing. One thins is almost assured…bikes that heavy will end up on their side at some point either from the stand sinking in or the bike just getting away from you. $450 is a reasonable price to pay. I just can’t afford the Goldwing to put it on. Keep up the good work.

Hey, Max. Well done. The internet has created a crap load of boisterous cowards who operate from a distance. Easier said than done, but ignore the naysayers. You do great work. As you know from our other email exchanges, I've ordered the new 2024 Tour DCT. Before I even get the bike, I'll be ordering the belly pan and the tip over kit. I'm Canadian, so everything I order has added 38% exchange added to it. Therefore, $1000 USD for those two items is almost $1400 CND. It is still a ridiculously small cost compared to plastic parts and paint, not to mention $15k to repair the engine. Math 101 at work here. Keep up your great work and videos, and as for the naysayers, just consider the source. No one forces anyone to watch your channel or buy from you. If they're not happy, go elsewhere, as you've said. Stay well.

I think Honda should of been the ones to make a real good protection system for their bike! Sometimes after market stuff is better and sometimes not. I personally think bars are the way to go, but the ones that come with the bike bend too easily. What is the solution? Wish it could be an easy fix. Saying all this, I have to say at least you are trying to come up with a good solution to the problem.

The hell with all the haters Max!! If I had a 18 on up, I would buy the kit. Mine is an 03. Again as I have said before in your videos, You are the man! When someone comes into my shop and complains about the price, I tell them to find someone else that does quality work for less. You can always find an hack but then it is funny when they come back and can't understand why my price is more cause I have to undo the hack work and do it right. Wow, that was awesome! I started watching your videos only after buying a 2020 wing but had I somehow found your site before I owned it I'd still have watched. I just placed an order for your quick trunk removal kit and a few other goodies and to complete that project I also had to buy the required Honda components. But make no mistake, as soon as the 2024 riding season is close to returning for us Canadians I will be placing my order for the tip over protection as well. Keep up the good work.

Max, I only started watching your videos in July after purchasing my 2023 Goldwing. You have a great resume and proven experience in the motorcycle industry, especially with Goldwing R&D and modifications. I can understand your frustration with people who do not think before commenting to your videos, but I’m confident they are very much the minority to your channel. The majority of your followers will continue to watch and provide feedback/comments and purchase your products. I realize you have a lot of money in this product, but after you had this idea, did you canvas your followers on the idea, or from a business perspective you did not want to let the cat out of the bag? Good luck on future sales!
It was so out of the box, we did not want to show it or talk about it until it was ready to sell... Less time for China to copy it. Also had to get patents filed, etc.
Price is reasonable if You are a reasonable person. But not everyone is creative like You and dont understand what it takes. Great product at a great price.
